Hi!☺️ This is a reminder that YOU truly are the one that determines how your life, year, month, week, day, HOUR is going to be.
It’s literally ALL up to YOU!💫
Just a SIMPLE switch in your mindset can change EVERYTHING!! I know some days can be much harder than others, and it’s easy to get thrown into a downward spiral, but the second you notice yourself going down that spiral, TAKE A STEP BACK. Breathe. Smile (even if you don’t feel like it). Practice some affirmations. I PROMISE your mood will shift.🙏
More on this will be coming soon, but comment below what helps YOU stay positive/motivated!☺️💞
“Guys, I’ve been here for three months now! I am so thankful! I am grateful for all the friends I’ve made along the way! I decided to become an exchange student because I wanted to go to different country and experience another culture and I didn’t know how fun it could be until now❤️ go read my blog update”

Dar Poeta is pizzeria located in the heart of Trastevere. This unique pizza is famous in Rome and a destination for tourists and locals! The pizza is cooked in a wood oven and I would recommend getting the Vicoletto!!! We talk a lot about food culture in class and this restaurant represents Rome food culture perfectly. It values good “slow food” and “grandmas cooking”! Check it out if you are in Trastevere! #sdtg#gustolabinstitute#foodculture#studyabroad#sustainability#bissellea

And that’s a wrap! Today was our final stop in KPU’s first recruitment tour around Sweden. This photo was taken at the famous Umeå Institute of Design at @umeauniversitet. Thank you to our partner @yourstudyadvisor for the support in making this trip possible.
My sister surprised me by sending me a pic of our old home in Germany and it totally transported me back to one of the most magical times in my life! At the time, however, we were young (middle school), how could we have possibly known how lucky we were?! We took for granted that seeing the wonders of the world was just something everyone did. Now I look back at that pivotal and extraordinary time in our lives and know that we were beyond blessed to have grown up on foreign soil! The sights we saw, the friends we made, and the life we were able to live hasn't ever been quite matched. The gifts of travel are enduring and never-ending. My world view is LARGE and I continue to have a love of travel! There's no substitute for it, nor should there be. Travel as much as you can. Seeing the world truly expands your understanding of it and the people who inhabit it. Embrace travel and it (and the world) will embrace you right back!
“London’s cultural landscape, cultivated by peoples of diverse backgrounds and England’s rich history has been an extraordinary place to study. This global city has challenged me to reach outside of what is familiar to me towards fantastic experiences and great reward.” -Signe Lee

When your best friend takes you to get vegan banana bread pancakes >>> Yes please! These delish pancakes were full of banana flavor, topped with a berry compote, almonds, coconut, powdered sugar, and maple syrup! These were a great appetizer to the pastries we got into right after 😉
