1 minute Clip of a 2 minute thing I wrote while looking through the camera Jenny and I had with us last weekend in Pittsburgh. She’s an incredibly inspiring creature. Gonna post the full Stereo Version to youtube, and probably instaTV tomorrow (still having issues with stereo uploading correctly despite using a couple different options...I might be kinda dumb).. Use headphones if you got ‘em. Every pedal is at work here in some fashion #👾 🖤 @peapaintings @solidgoldfx @gfisystem @chaseblissaudio @meris.us @sourceaudio @fairfieldcircuitry @1981inventions @xoticusa @hologram_electronics @strymonengineering @novoguitars
I present: The Motherboard.
A 2-board system I designed and built for my client Bill. The main board(a @pedaltrain Terra) is completely controlled by a @rjmmusictechnology Mastermind PCB. Both boards are wired with @evidenceaudio SIS and Monorail cable. We used some @btpa_usa TRS Y cables for the stereo effects in the Mastermind as well. The main board is powered with a @cioks_power_supplies_official Ciokolate and @strymonengineering Ojai, and the small board gets powered by its own Ojai as well. There is no sound that this board can’t get. It is designed to work with a @kemperamps as well, so Bill can also use Kemper effects via midi thanks to the Mastermind. Dry effects get sent to the front of the Kemper, and the stereo wet effects go to the loop. This is the largest and most intricate system I’ve ever built, and I’m so proud of how it turned out! More pictures and info coming soon! #thaudio

@arcrae.io and I collaborated on this track which was so fun to make. Originally the idea was for a short piece. However the guitar part he sent was so very inspiring that I just kept going--adding acoustic drums, then synths and VI horn parts from @nativeinstruments Kontakt. Additionally, I used the @nordkeyboards Lead 4, @korgofficial Electribe 2 thru the @strymonengineering Big Sky and Timeline for the initial pad, and some sounds from @uheplugins Diva and Zebra for subtle layering. ★The full video is on both of our Youtube channels. Link in bio.★ The video was shot on the Panasonic @lumix GH5 with the 12-60 and 100-400 Leica lenses. The footage is from a family vacation to the Etowah Indian Mounds State Historic Site in Cartersville, Georgia. The scenes of the distant hills and mountains were shot on top of the Tribal Chief’s mound and the river is the nearby Etowah River.
The video tries to show what an amazing phenomenon it is that, no matter where we look on our great planet, life is abundant. And when we consider that no other planet in our solar system or in the known galaxies could support this life, we hope that a hundred years from now the planet will still be as fantastic and beautiful as it is today.
As always, thanks for listening and big thanks to @arcrae.io for being so awesome and for making this collaboration happen.
