Between the picture on the left and the right I have dealt with a lot of normal problems like a failed relationship, depression, and anxiety. But also selling all of my belongings, moving across the country, restarting my business, and many many primal screams in my car.
There is one thing that I can count on. MYSELF. And the ONE thing that will always stay the same is that I go get my work done and give it my 100%. That is what creates change and there is nothing that could be throw my way to make me lose momentum. I am building the person who i want to be. The strength and muscle I have built over the last year represents me constantly pushing myself forward no matter how hurt or scared I am.
Take control of your life. SOME PEOPLE WOULD RATHER LIVE IN SHIT THAN BE SEEN WITH A SHOVEL.

Been working long and hard with squats these last two blocks and finally they’re feeling A1 once again. Still got a lot of work to do this off season with squats and dead’s in terms of mobility, especially my ankle mobility. It’s hard, it’s frustrating, but always gotta trust the process as it always pays you back at the end. Excited to see what’s coming with squats, especially with bench and dead’s. Also gonna start a small cut, wish me luck haha.

Off season started today. Plan on doing my next meet sometime in the spring so I’ll be running a good 8-9 week hypertrophy cycle so I can try and put on some mass. Hit some squats today 280x12x4 4th set in the video. First time I’ve done this much volume is way too long(I almost died!) Then I did some Goodmornings and other posterior work. Really trying to strengthen my posterior chain to get a bigger squat and deadlift.
Little sappy motivation on this Monday. As much as I enjoy hitting PRs, I enjoy it more when my friends are crushing theirs. @robbywebz and I are in the gym, same time every Monday. We could be the only ones in there and still push each other to our limits. We have both experienced shitty meets and gone through injuries but still have each other’s back no matter what. The brothers you find in powerlifting are one of a kind. As @charliebink1ey has said before, it’s all about the “team”. As much as powerlifting is an individual sport, it goes deeper than that. Surround yourself with like minded people and there is no limit to what you can do. I’m excited to see what @robbywebz and @geraldernat do at their meets 🤟🏼 Also here’s some footage of my speed bench day because I don’t want to make another post

Depth isn’t just for squats. Form isn’t something to be compromised. Ever. My PRs may be few and far between but I know that when I hit it it will be right. There’s a lot to be said for intensity and I love it myself and giving your all but ego doesn’t win meets. Proper programming, proper form, and a mindset to do your best at all times wins. Check your ego at the door and come prepared to succeed.
