I am having this feeling of overwhelm, my anxiety is high and those two things combined make me want to call it a day & pull the covers over my head. .

Unfortunately that won’t get me closer to my goal, so I drink this amazing motivation juice & change into my workout clothes. I have a 45 minute weight training workout and a 12 minute ab workout to cross off my list. And I refuse to not show up for myself! .

Training was meh today, but the hair looked good actually 😁😝 I wasn't sure if I was too sore to workout, so I hadn't really planned too much. Plus there was a lot of people in the gym, so I just had to improvise.

Ever since August 27 this year I’ve been changed. Having a surgery I feel compromises your system in different ways. It actually knocks you down ⬇️. Seriously I feel like I’ve always struggled with self-esteem issues. Feelings of inadequacy and feeling unworthy! Sound familiar?! 🥺 If so- you aren’t alone! I feel like social media people only see the “perfect” side of you. They don’t see the mountain you’ve climbed up to be where you are. August 27 will be forever etched in my brain 🧠. I’m changed, I’m without an organ. But... my story isn’t over. I’ve learned not to be disappointed in myself. To tell you the truth, I’ve climbed the mountain and am proud to be where I’m at. I’m still sore sometimes. My stomach aches and I feel these unusual pains that make no sense “phantom pains.” Everyday, when I get out of the shower I see three small scars that are the reminder of what I’ve gone through, and guess what I SURVIVED. What this journey has taught me... 🔸 Sometimes you go through tough times, but it takes those tough circumstances to reveal your toughness 🔸 My stories not over! There’s bumps in the road people, we live, we learn. 🔸 Don’t rush things! You had to crawl before you could walk. Take your time, and do your best. 🔸 My best, isn’t your best (oh and vice versa) No more comparisons for me!!!! I’m ME, and I’m ok with that 😉

So water, electrolytes, proteins and carbs are essential, best to refuel up to 60min after workout to maximise muscle repair process.

As I train lot I usually add some recovery boosters to my meal/shake after to reduce muscle soreness and speed up recovery so I can workout next day with less pain😊

✔️TURMERIC great to fight inflammation that occurs in the body after workout, always with black pepper or coconut oil to increase bioavailability
✔️SPIRULINA - rich in vitamins essential (apart from vitamin D) for repairing muscle tissues: A, B1, B2, B6, K, E.

It’s been a month or two since I squatted without a box or light weight. Last night I kept adding weight to see where I was maxing out at.
