Throwback to the time we climbed “The Lions” in beautiful BC. It took about 7.5 hours round trip. 2.5 hours going up, an hour at the top for lunch and about 3.5 hours coming down. It was a lot easier climbing up the mountain then heading down. My knees started to give out by the end but it was worth the 12.4 kilometer hike. ⛰ “the bigger the mountain, the greater the reward” 👊🏼

It's your goal. Do EVERYTHING in your power to increase that bench press. This means training the bench press 3x per week. Each day of the week uses a different set and rep scheme in order to maximize gains (Daily Undulating Periodization or DUP).

You'll have 3 different days:

Power Day. 6 sets of 3 reps with 70% 1RM. Pause for 3 seconds on your chest and explode up.

Strength Day. 5 sets of 5 reps with 80% your 1RM. Grind these bad boys out. Take lots of rest.

Hypertrophy Day. 4 sets of 8 reps with 70% 1RM. A bigger muscle is a stronger muscle, so we're going to build some size to help build the bench press strength.

You can set this up on a Monday, Wednesday, Friday routine and have some incredible bench press gains. In your first 2 weeks, it'll feel like overtraining, but once your body adapts, you can add 20lbs to your bench press in less than 90 days.

BE PROUD OF EVERY ACCOMPLISHMENT ✨ .
Vous vous souvenez sûrement il y 1 semaine je vous disais que j’avais perdu 6lbs suite à une virus... et bien *malheureusement* j’ai repris 3.8lbs et ce matin j’étais déçue... déçue parce que je me sentais bien à ce poids, parce qu’il était près de mon « goal weight » et parce que j’espérais que cette perte de poids me permette de casser le plateau de poids sur lequel je me trouvais depuis plusieurs mois... Bon bon.. je sais que l’idée d’un goal weight est parfois mal vue et je suis d’accord dans certaines circonstances. Le miens par contre était, croyez-moi, très réaliste et demeurait un objectif et non une obsession! 
Par contre tu vois là je viens de finir un workout de jambes INTENSE et un bon 30 minutes de yoga avancé et j’ai fais TOUTES les poses au niveau intermédiaire au minimum et même plusieurs au niveau avancé... ÇA c’est quelque chose de quoi être fière!!! On a tellement tendance à ne se fier QU’À la balance et ce n’est parfois tellement pas un bon indicatif de où on est en physiquement! 
Je suis FORTE et ça je le sais! 
J’veux dire check la photo là! 👆🏻 de beaux muscles définis et ils se renforcent de semaine en semaine 👊🏻 C’est sur CES détails là qu’il faut se concentrer!!! Et je le répète TELLEMENT souvent à mes clientes... mais maudus que des fois on a de la misère à prendre nos propres conseils huh...? Hihi 🤭 .
