#psoas A really common issue amongst those who sit for extended periods, and pregnant women, is a tight psoas. It's one of the hip flexors and when the the knees are bent up, for example while sitting, they are shortened. If they don't get a good stretch very often, they can become really tight, which can cause a referral pain pattern and alter posture (A sore lower back is a really common presentation of psoas tension). .
Low lunge is a great way to stretch it out, be mindful of gently pulling in your abs and pelvic floor for a really deep stretch. .
If low lunge is not comfortable, you can lie on the floor on your back and hug one knee in and extend the opposite leg straight, this one is really relaxing for the end of the day too 💙 .
Remedial massage helps to deactivate trigger points that cause referral pain, and to stretch and lengthen the tight muscles involved, not only in the hip flexor region but also the surrounding muscles in the legs and back. .

We grind hard 99% of the time but today we restored and foam rolled, pinky balled our glutes and hips and stretched on the yoga trapeze. These stretches are beautiful and a perfect compliment to her soreness from Monday-Wednesday. Sometimes taking a small step back will yield dramatic results!
So it was this past Saturday 8/11. I was Zouk dancing at this crazy party at the studio, past midnight, I came out to the parking lot, there were people wrapping up the block party that was held there earlier. I put my right index finger on his forehead, little bit above center of the brows. I said: are you drunk or are you high or both (although I didn’t smell none of those)? He moved my finger away. Held my shoulders straight, said: ahh I saw you! Fear, in your eyes. It’s there, but you are not afraid, you welcome it, embrace, great talent ...
I saw you, .....................(that was like about 5 minuets there). In the end, I said: goodnight. Turned around and moved toward my car. His voice followed: remember, you be you, you keep being you! Don’t ever change that!!! .
As a medical school graduate with a degree of Western Clinical Medicine👩🏻🎓, I believe in science and facts. But very interesting something similar happened to me when I was in middle school back in China, this random psychic (as he claimed himself) had read me once.
