Before your next meeting, look through the agenda and write some questions you have and any points you might raise. If you’re called on, speak slowly and confidently, and introduce your comments with some context so that colleagues know where you are headed. Of course, if someone asks you a question that catches you off guard, don’t be afraid to say you don’t know the answer.

🧡🧡🧡 Yesterday I took my son to the park to have a run and play. He really needed it after our long flight🌟🌟🌟. We've had a full on start to our trip to Spain, arriving 10 hours late with delayed and cancelled flights, delayed luggage, and of course, the usual full on Spanish family welcome (I'm used to it now!) 😉😄 Yesterday, for the first time, we stopped to take a breath and pause in the moment.🌟🌟🌟 After his play, my son was sitting in his stroller and we took a few moments to listen to what the present moment was offering us. Once we paid attention, we could hear cars, birds, someone building something, music far off, an airplane above, a dog barking in the distance...it's incredible what you can hear once you stop to listen. 🌟If you take a moment right now to listen to everything around you, what can you hear?🌟 The hum of life. If you can become aware of it without getting involved in it, you will calm the nervous system and most likely gain perspective on anything that is troubling you, because it is a reminder that you are alive 🧡🧘♀️

When I went on a mini vacay this week, I de-stressed HARD (as you can tell by how relaxed and at peace I am in this photo😆) and my skin got SO MUCH BETTER👏 It was my birthday this week and so I had a bit of cake (less than usual😇) and lots of yummy delish food (=white flour based food) and I thought I would break out hard since I had stayed away from those for quite some time but nothing happened - NADA😀 Although having a healthy diet is important for the overall health and does play some part, I guess stress was the biggest culprit which kinda sucks cuz stress management is the hardest😫 Let me know how you guys deal with stress on a normal basis, por favor🙏 .
Long post but worth it, I promise.
It’s funny. I get all excited 😆 about wearing smaller clothes or fitting into clothes I haven’t in a long time, but then I go somewhere where I’m surrounded by thinner people and my confidence and self image takes a dip. 🤷🏻♀️ I have a cupcake 🎂 and feel like everyone is judging me like “look at the fat girl eating all that sugar” or “and she calls herself a wellness coach” and that narrative starts running in my head. And that’s the thing. It’s in my head. It’s all me. Everyone is eating th same cake and ice cream and could really care less about me indulging.
Now normally, I’d let this self bullying just completely derail me: Have the cupcake, judge myself, throw my hands in the air and get derailed for a week. Or weeks. Or a month. Or more.
Today, I enjoyed the cupcake and ice cream, came home and started planning out my meals for the week.
I started to hear that voice try to creep in and I’m just choosing to build myself up rather than tear myself down and sabotage the progress I’ve made.
I’m getting my curves back.
I’m getting my confidence back.
I’m LIVING my life.
Friend, I’m here to tell you that we are our own worst enemy. That voice in our head is just the enemy trying to keep us from becoming the fiercest of warriors.
So do something today that will move you toward progress. It doesn’t need to be perfect, it just needs to happen. The smallest step forward will continue to build your confidence and before you know it you’ll be a force to be reckoned with.
Private Retreat of comfortable silence. This sunday I NEED to retreat into my personal space and unplug from the matrix. I have always been dreaming about going on a retreat in an exotic place and healing there...However this might not always be realistic when time and resources are limited, so I figured out a way to retreat in my own home. And I will share these steps with you now. First I will unplug all electornics (yes your phone as well), exept for my kitchen supplies. I will only use candlelight and nothing else for lightning. Very improtant. I will sleep in, with earplugs & a sleep mask. Then I will do thounge scraping and oil pulling. I foam roll and do some yoga. Then I will start a tea ceremony and meditate deeply with no time limit. After that I will turn on nature sounds on a divice (only use it for the sounds) I prefer japanese forest sounds, because I just can't possibly stand the sound of my city. Dry brushing, ayurvedic Abhyanga and mineral bath following (working on my own formula right now). The rest of the day will be spend with cooking noutritious high vibe food, breathwork, reading books by masterminds, stretching, face masks, eating in bed, more meditation and journaling, reading my horoskope, drinking tons of infusions and getting clear on my manifestations. It does not need to be the fanciest place on earth to get healing. Healing can happen anywhere, because it happens within you. This will give you insights you wouldn’t be able to capture/process, have you been mindlessly taking action on every single thought you have, rushing through life. .
Think of it as the runner who, instead of sprinting at the start of the race, knows him/herself and has learned to control its own ideal pace on all stages of the race: the climb ups, the downhills, up until the finish line. Think about the finish line, and then take the time and necessary steps to get there as the most contemplative winner. #dasbasic
34 weeks ago, I had posted about women's periods as a self care opportunity.
The positive feedback I received about it was by far more than the criticism, yet it made me feel uncomfortable to an extent.
The issue itself is not very welcomed in my culture, and people would rather convince themselves , including women, that periods don't exist. But the way I presented it, elicited some resistance from women of other cultures as well.
However, I did not take that post down for I believe in every word I write and it is very normal to have conflicting opinions about anything.
Today I woke up to a comment on that same post from the lady who criticized it the most; saying she intended to revisit her thoughts about it. She mentioned that she often thought about my words although she did not agree with them. And then openly shared her story leading to a point where she eventually believed in what I was saying in that post.
And though I had forgotten all about it, but her new comment made me happy and proud to have planted that seed inside her thoughts. These seeds grew at their own pace, in accordance with her own evolution journey.
So I realized that even if I inspire just one woman to move closer to her highest good,then I know I have done my job well. That is what I want to do.
I want to inspire women to love all that they are, starting with their bodies.
I want women to wake up to their true power by discovering their hidden treasures and learning all that helps them rise to that level within themselves.
Through acceptance or resistance, I want to lead you into the truest version of yourself, and to inspire you to keep learning and growing even beyond anything you have ever imagined; because darling, I believe in you.

One of the most common factors I routinely assess when working with a client, in addition to training, diet or cardio, is stress. In a chronically stressed client, with elevated levels of cortisol, the body is essentially working against you – holding onto bodyfat, limiting lean muscle growth and negatively impacting several other key systems of the body including digestion and nutrient absorption.
1- Cortisol can make fat loss challenging. When you have elevated cortisol levels, your body thinks it needs to store belly fat so that it will have easily accessible energy in anticipation of more intense stress.
