Challenge Tag 30 und noch dabei. Check 💪🏻. Was soll ich sagen? Bin begeistert 🤗.
Libido is more than our hormones.
Don’t get me wrong, healthy balanced hormones definitely help, but their not the whole picture. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
When it comes to our brains , the desire for sex is pretty low down the food chain.
Relying on your hormones & biological drive can leave you feeling like sex less often than you’d like. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The key is to top up those to things with our power of focus.
Where thoughts go energy flows right?
So if we spent more time thinking about our relationships and love lives and focusing on the positive things, there’s a chance we might actually think more about sex. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
When we’re stressed, disconnected from ourselves, our bodies or our partners then sex is the last thing we want or even want to think about. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Often this is when we start to put ourselves in the “low libido” category.
But it’s often not the case. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Maybe your life is killing your libido?
Maybe you need to find ways to reduce your stress levels, reconnect to your partner and rediscover your sensual side. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Or maybe learning about what turns up your desire, ignites your interest and helps you feel sexy could do the trick. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
There are a multitude of things that affect our desire for sex, all of which I will be talking about tonight @kaseynatropath event Espresso Libido- can’t wait 👏👏

Some stress-less tips for getting you through pre-holiday worries✨✨👇🏼
But first, my ideal Sunday morning right here (when not at church). Sipping on a matcha latte, bed head, and just taking it slow.
I got to thinking earlier about all the pressure we put on ourselves during these last two months of the year, and how truly unnecessary all that pressure is.
You might be thinking, “ok Karina, but when I’m hosting 25 people for dinner, I get stressed and worry something will go wrong!” OR “I get food anxiety and I dread being around the decadent food and don’t trust myself to stay on track with my health goals!” I completely understand and empathize, and you aren’t in the wrong for having these thoughts. What I’d challenge you to do is remind yourself why it is that you’re all coming together in the first place; to be thankful, to spend quality time with family, with friends, to catch up and reminisce over delicious home-cooked food made with love. Yes, it really can be that easy and simple.
Remind yourself that one day doesn’t need to turn into 5, eating that slice of pumpkin pie doesn’t mean you’re “being bad” and that you CAN treat yourself and stay on track, and that crazy Uncle Joe’s nutty antics doesn’t mean everything is ruined.
Otherwise, what’s the point of it all? I know of some people that leave town and do their own thing and I say more power to you! Don’t let what society says or thinks define this time for you and make you believe you have to dread it or fear it. It does NOT have to be that way!
Let me know what you are most looking forward to this week or during these next few weeks in general! Or DM me about whats worrying you and I’ll help! I’m excited for family time and extra cuddles with my baby niece and nephew! Ok, and blackberry pie from @wholefoods too🤩👇🏼
haters gonna hate kills them with ur cute smile choose to be happy no matter bad circumstances uve had encountered being genuine is d foundation of integrity youre here to truly ,really live
My immune system used to work at 25% in 2011, and now it operates at 100%. ⠀
Our emotions and thoughts either lift up our health or they erode it. ⠀
As I began to rebuild my health after my immune system crash, I had to consider my emotional and mental state. As I began to confront what was at the root of my stress and anxiety and healed it, I grew stronger in my health. ⠀
Heal thy self = Healthy Self. 💖
Stop letting unrealistic expectations of yourself steal your joy.
Your performance, your nutrition habits, your skin, your body, your exercise routines and your health habits are NOT determiners of your worth.
Just because you’re hungry for change (better health, new job, fat loss), doesn’t mean you’re inadequate right now.
Go to bed trusting that you are exactly where you’re at right now for a reason. To learn, to grow, to teach, to self-discover, to just be.
The girl you are right now, you’ll never be her again. Savor her, experience her, get to know her, love her and see her value. YOUR value.
One of my biggest regrets in life is spending way to much time in my younger years hating what I saw in the mirror, never letting myself feel good enough and always feeling like I had to do more, be more and lose more to be worth it.
It makes me wonder how many women have felt or are feeling the same thing?
Today, I want to remind you that you are worthy simply because you EXIST. No cellulite, jiggle, acne, infertility, diagnosis, weight, hair loss or rolls will ever take away from your value. 🖤
I used to think hormone imbalance was something that happened to “other people” but would never be something I would struggle with. 👀
If you aren’t already laughing at me then I will reveal that I was dead wrong. 🙅🏻♀️
Not only have I struggled with my hormones over the past few years, but I now am battling autoimmune conditions and thyroid issues. Yay me 😳
I will report, though, that although I gained 8 lbs fairly quickly (8 lbs when you aren’t tall and aren’t used to struggling with your weight is A LOT), I have so far lost 6 and that was with all odds against me!
How have I been turning this ship around?? Here are the tools I have in my tool belt:
🖤Eating low carb & gluten free with plenty of healthy fats & protein (I eat somewhat of a low carb paleo/keto mishmash 🤓)
🖤 Reducing stress (this was one of the biggies that got me off balance) & this includes having firm boundaries which can be challenging
🖤Eating organic, hormone free, pesticide free, toxin free...all the things as much as possible!! •
🖤Ditching toxins top to bottom in my life! •
🖤Using a whole foods based supplement trio that is bioavailable and gives me the nutrients that I want to support my thyroid & adrenals as well as helping support my liver (hello detox pathways).
🖤Essential oils have been a huge part of this journey for me by helping me with immune support, mood boosting, giving me amazing alternatives to toxins in so many different aspects. •

Here’s our last tips to help with your stress, sanity, and wellbeing this Thanksgiving. Start cooking dishes that can be made a couple of days earlier in the week so you’re not overloading yourself the day of Thanksgiving. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Double check your guest list and get final confirmations/head count. Finish all your last minute shopping needs.
Clean your house for any overnight guests and for any guests for the day of Thanksgiving. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Please eat and drink plenty of fluids like water this week. Dehydration is real and if you decide to save all your calories for the day of by not eating will shrink your stomach. So, your plans to throw down on some food will come to a food fail. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Most importantly enjoy yourself, the day, and yourself family. You prepared so hard for this day. Make great memories for years to come and don’t forget to raise a glass in celebration. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Hopefully, these tips helps you enjoy the holiday and stress less about the big day. Is there any traditions or something that you do every Thanksgiving? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I miss my beach so much. Turning 24 has made me realize I’m so different and unique from most humans my age. I thrive in the ocean, I have parts to me most people will never know, and I may not know what I like but I know what I don’t. I used to feel shame for not being a copy of everyone else. I don’t wear the same clothes, attend a sorority, have the same personality, follow the crowd, conform, or find myself partying every night. This used to make me feel shame but now I know what is meant for me will be. Now I feel sadness in my heart for those who don’t know their true nature and how incredible it feels to be free!
Today was just one of those days. Cracked my phone screen, missed church, and just generally fell behind on everything on my plate. I came home pretty overwhelmed and a little discouraged. I love this time of year but it’s a lot to prep for family and big celebrations on top of all my other responsibilities. Cue the garden magic ✨An hour weeding at sunset and my mind is reset. There’s something so healing about slowing down and doing something mundane but beautiful in the midst of all this holiday busyness. Gardening is indeed an instrument of grace 🌅
I woke up like this.. .
Did I have a fantastic day yesterday? Yes I did!! But it’s all in the perspective you choose. .
I had an incredible call with some inspiring women, I had some wonderful heart-to-heart conversations, and I planted seeds into a powerful business partnership that excites the hell outta me. .
I also did this with a massive splitting headache that eventually made me wonder if my head was still attached to my body. When I didn’t think it could get any worse my daughter sprayed what smelled like a gallon of my (rarely used) perfume in the bathroom to cover up the smell of the cheese chunks my son puked up while I was on my business calls that was now lodged in the sink drain. .
I didn’t get to go to the movie we already bought tickets for because he was sick (and the pomegranate seeds I planned to bring were actually spoiled), and thanks to #mercuryretrogade the tickets we bought the night before never got charged. .
My son had to cancel his sleepover, but of course asked me every 5 minutes if he could go anyway. By this time I could barely answer a yes or no question my head hurt so bad and the perfume was making me dizzy and disoriented.
I am so grateful that my friend and sleepover mama made a house call and offered to drop off some Doterra for all our ailments, and I brag that I also asked her to pick up some kale and beets for juicing while at the store (it’s not easy for me to ask for help). I juiced celery.. and kale and cilantro and ginger and lemon. The beets turned out to be radishes (👋 Mercury!)
I drank 32 ounces of green juice at midnight, and rubbed myself with lavender, and popped some OnGuard beads into my mouth, and that headache went away. .
I rubbed my son’s belly and feet with DigestZen. And my daughter heated us both some soup. .
This morning (lets be honest, afternoon) I woke up to a hot lemon water with cayenne at my bedside from my sweet girl ♥️♥️, and a stash of celery juice in the fridge 🌱💚.
I had a fantastic day. Ahhh.. ✨😌✨

See these beautiful people? They’re the reason why I began my own business in direct sales. They’re the reason I chose Younique.
.............::::::................::::::::: But why did I feel the need to get into direct sales? Because we were broke. So broke. I’ve always been a real “go-getter” (that’s quite an understatement actually) and I knew if I committed to Younique like I would any new job, I would be successful. The difference is, if it was most jobs, I’d be placed on a schedule and told the days I need to be at work and the hours I would need to work...maybe have a dress code....maybe have an “interesting” co-worker or two....
::::////::::\\\\::::////::::\\\\:::://// Yet this? This is mine. I decide how successful I will be. It’s all me. And the control-freak-ultimate-go-getter in me LOVES that. And guess what? I added an additional $300 to our family’s income in my first month and was able to buy groceries and put gas in our cars. Right now it’s the little things. But in a few more months, this business I started will fully support these beautiful people and our upcoming adventures. I can’t wait! 💜💜💜🖤🖤🖤💜💜💜

It's ok to not do anything sometimes.
Contrary to popular belief.
There's a myth around about how being productive means doing things all the time.
Around the clock.
Each and every one of your waking moment.
But it's like that common saying goes: all work and no play... Being productive isn't just about doing as many things as you can, it is just as important to have down time.
Down times are not just useful, they are necessary. Our brains need time to consolidate and compute information.
Not just that, we all have good days and bad. A lot of times it feels like scaling the Everest, trying to get anything done. So it's good to come to terms with them.
It is ok to have down times.
And it is also ok to have down days.
Realise that having impact and being productive is more about quantity than quality.
The important thing is to use your down times and days to take care of yourself.
So rather than stressing about doing things, try and relax.
When you relax, you'll prime your brain to get to work and come up with solutions and breakthroughs. Our brains do over 80% of the work below the surface, without our active handling.
If you're having a down day, or need some down time, take the break and enjoy it, rather than trying to force yourself to do things and stress about it.
Life is short.
Today I woke up happy ☀️ No worry. No stress. Just a happy heart and a mind at ease. Days like that are somewhat rare for me. I have a natural tendency to worry and stress a lot over things that are both in & out of my control. But not today 🙌🏼 So I’m taking time to appreciate the good days like today! Happy Sunday lovelies 😘

**REASON YOU HAVE HPA AXIS DYSFUNCTION NUMBER 1: NOT ENOUGH GOOD QUALITY SLEEP**
HPA axis dysfunction, or Hypothalamus-Pituitary-Adrenal axis dysfunction is an issue seen in, believe it or not, most individuals today😳The term ‘adrenal fatigue’ is no longer used because it’s been shown that it’s not the adrenals causing their own problems: it starts in your brain. This is just one of a few axes that start in the brain. •
This axis, is what contributes to high cortisol (the stress hormone) production when we initially experience a stress response. When that goes on too long or too frequently, this axis starts to tire, causing cortisol production to go too low. The adrenals then pump out cortisone, your other stress hormone produced by the adrenals, when it cant make much cortisol. Cruddy situation to be in, I tell ya!
“Sleep is for the weak” is one of those sayings that truly irritates me. It’s completely illogical. You recover, grow new cells, grow muscle, repair your gut, and detoxify among many other things while you sleep. It should not be taken for granted, ever! •
It’s not just getting the recommended 7-9 hours, but it’s also the quality of sleep you get that allows you to properly recover all bodily systems. You need to go through REM and deep sleep in order to wake feeling refreshed and recovered.
When you have irregular sleep patterns, or consistently don’t get enough good quality sleep, you will be stuck in HPA axis dysfunction, period. The more frequently you do this, the closer you get to shunting into more cortisone production over cortisol, which means your adrenal glands are suffering, and your body can not handle that! •
So, what do you do? Go to bed earlier. For every hour of sleep you get before midnight, it’s like getting two hours after midnight. Aim to be in bed by 10pm at latest. Take calming herbs before bed like Valerian and Passionflower-they’re potent, trust me. Minimize your caffeine consumption, and don’t consume it within 10 hours of going to bed. You’ll sleep like an angel! Prioritize your sleep!
