When we think of resistance training we primarily think of muscle strength with a cardiovascular response. Where as endurance training is primarily cardiovascular strength with muscle strength response. 💡The bigger picture we need to look at is training the ♥️ heart as a WHOLE. ☑️ Resistance Training and HITT increases the heart rate and strengthens one part of the heart (the left ventricle mainly). 🚫 Leaving the rest of the heart 💜 without proper stimulus to adapt. ⁉️In order to combat this problem we need to include cardiovascular strength training at a moderate aerobic range (70-85% of MHR) to increase the vascular network, to allow a greater delivery of blood to the heart itself and increase stroke volume. The boys got to see the full arsenal of tempering this morning from shoulders and back down to IT bands and calves. Getting into tissue is uncomfortable as you can see but the reward is AMAZING. They walked out ready for the week feeling NO tightness in the calves, better ankle and hip mobility, and significantly less soreness. WHAT. So apparently taking a week vacation of eating & drinking any junk you want, then spending 10ish hours in a vehicle makes for a rough workout, who knew!? 😂🤣😂🤣 I was on the struggle bus hard on deadlifts tonite. Had to drop my working weight quite a bit just to finish the workout. BUT I stuck with it and in this video I'm hitting my perscribed sets of 5 @ 420 lbs. Definitely ready to get back on track 💪
Some bench and deads, both at 3x3. Trying to see how my body reacts. Hernia surgery has been delayed until I transfer to little creek JEB partly because my eye was infected on my surgery day and partly because first impressions with this community is very important to me.
