2 different training sessions here. Ethan is in a power oriented phase and these are 2 of our favorite power blocks that I’ve been using for a few years now with different athletes. Bar speed is our focus on the big compound movements and we pair an explosive accessory immediately after. Notice that both jumps are the same exact movement pattern as our “big lift”. Mimicking we what just performed but a way faster stretch shortening cycle. That’s a big man at 6’ 6” w/ near perfect mechanics on the big lifts, also watch the landing on the box.. not a lot of people landing correctly, let alone someone at 6’6”. Excited for this kid

I haven’t been on here much lately - Life has been insane, but so good. I’m really excited that my bloat is down an incredible amount in just over a week or so - I’m following my usual RP base diet as much as I can, doing my usual workouts in addition to doing MMA conditioning 1-2x a week...& the biggest factor is my stress levels are down almost SO much. It’s funny how certain people can affect your life/body in such positive ways 😌
I’m still softer than I’d like to be, but I’ve got plans for a cut coming up in the nearish future. But for now, I’m really fucking happy & I’m rolling with it until it’s time for the diet induced emotions 🙃
Also if anyone’s looking for some tips for eating tomorrow - DONT WORRY ABOUT IT. It’s a day where everything revolves around socially eating & enjoying your friends & family if you can - and being thankful that you’re lucky enough to do so. Eat until your full, if you’re worried. But don’t skip on your favorites just because you’re obsessed with your macros & don’t kill yourself in the gym before or after as punishment. Working out is a privilege/a hobby, not a punishment. Enjoy yourself. Be safe. Eat. And think of those who are alone, hurting, or would give anything to be with their loved ones while you’re panicking over a slice of pie and some bloat tomorrow.
