never before have I walked out of an art exhibition/museum feeling so overwhelmed with emotions and overwrought with thought all at once. To create art is one thing, to create such relevant, crucial, critical commentary on the state of the world is another!
Banksy GENIUS or VANDAL?
GENIUS, without a doubt! .
New found respect for street art and of course this artist!

This illustration "Subida De La Luna", translated to Moon Rise, was inspired by the rising tide of strong women taking leadership roles in their communities. Helping to bring back more balance within the predominantly masculine society we live in today.
Agility, diversity, and strength are represented by the three subjects in this piece. The cross axis lines representing vision and clear perception. This is the original illustration which was the basis for a 41’ x 55’ mural I did in Corktown, Detroit. This mural was commissioned by the @eldoradogeneralstore which resides in the historic building where the mural is, and stands as a landmark for the community in a quickly developing area of Detroit. Erin, who owns @eldoradogeneralstore store, has become one of the leading public figures of the Corktown area, and is a exquisite example of the role a strong & inspiring woman can have on the community. Much love and respect to Erin and her partner Chris @adventureguyphoto , who made this project possible!
