New fabric package arrived from @stoffstil brown sweatshirting with bats and grey jersey with glittery eyes. The race is on to get them made into something before we move - still don’t know when that will be but sometime early October most likely, & I’ll be very sad if I don’t have a new Halloween outfit this year.
Edit: & Jon has already bagsied the bat fabric for a hoodie - there go my plans. It’s the first time pretty much ever he’s asked me for something realistic with sewing though, so I’m not too miffed. 😢😢😢
Mal schaun was daraus wird.
Damit endet auch schon unsere letzter Tag in Oslo. Morgen geht es weiter nach Trondheim.
#sewphotohop day 4 signature style and these are the patterns that are my TNTs along with a fabric in one of my favourite colours - everyone should have sparkly belly kittens in their wardrobe right? 😸 #sewover50#stoffandstil

My most favourite city on earth 🌏 Copenhagen.
I used to live there during my exchange semester and trying to return regularly ever since. For example for fabric shopping.

New blog post: My latest sewing FO, baby joggers in geometric print jersey (which you may recognise from my top). I used a @stoffstil pattern, which was a very different style of working that I'm used to, with pre-cut pattern pieces in a fixed size. Very happy with the result! My sewing machine is in the sewing machine hospital now so no more projects for the moment, but I've got some lovely new fabric and many plans for it.
This is my Kalle Shirt made from a really soft viscose from Stoff and Stil. When finished it I was unsure if I liked it but since then I’ve worn it almost daily so it’s ended up being a winner. So light and airy, perfect for this hot weather! #kalleshirt#stoffandstil#sewersofinstagram#sewer
Stoff & Stil store was almost next to (not really..) our hotel in Berlin so of course I had to visit 😀 I found some very beautiful blue jersey for a cardigan, unicolour viscose crep (finally!) for a blouse and wrap dress and interesting 3D ponte(???) jersey for a skirt. I wonder would it be possible to sew a summer capsule just from these fabrics? At least I'm eager to try! #stoffundstil#stoffandstil#fabricshopping#imakemyownclothes#sewingplans
#memademay day 21: My most recent and proudest #memade creation to date - the perfect summer backpack!! This bag literally took blood, sweat and tears and probably more than 20 hours of labor...but it is 100% mine and completely made from scratch! I wanted something that would work well with my summer wardrobe and to my life motto of 'don't be basic', I found an exciting and unique fabric with neutral colors from @stoffstil. There were so many style decisions to size the bag, place the fabric pattern, choose the pocket type, add the patches, etc., and I took every measure to make it functional and professionally finished with a full lining, fleeced interfacing, self-made bias binding, cushioned straps and more. I'm esctatic over the results and I can't wait to wear this bag like every day! See all the details on how it came together in my insta story! #memademay18#handmade#imadethis
Couldn’t get a decent photo of this on me, so I gave up! You can probably guess the pattern, Closet Case Ebony tee, view C ( just added an inch to the front, to reduce the high low differential). Material grey cotton jersey from Stoff and Stil, lovely. My machine was behaving really well with the twin needle, so I’m please with the finish. It must know I’m looking for a new machine! #closetcase#ebonytee#stoffandstil#ilovesewing#handmadewardrobe#imakemyownclothes
New Frankie ! Made using the left overs from my long sleeved Frankie. The jersey fabric from Stoff & Stil is so sweet. Loved making it in the garden in the sunshine - popped a heart on the back for good measure too. #sewingfrankie#sewingstretchbook#stoffandstil
👗Day 3 of #mmm2018
This is the perfect wrap dress you guys! I think wrap dresses really do flatter EVERYBODY. (Nevermind that the weird light makes me look pregnant AGAIN.😁 I swear I am not.) Looking at these photos really makes me want to sew a dozen more of these dresses.
The pattern is in the 5/2016 issue of the magazine Ottobre Design. Fabric is a viscose knit from @stoffstil
