Thanks for the follows friends! I am still new to IG but I am having so much fun creating and sharing on this platform. I thought I would take a few minutes and introduce myself.
I am a country girl from the mitten state. I dabble in a lot of things - massage therapy, teaching yoga, essential oils, crafting.....but the most important thing I do is raise a family.
I am married to my best friend, who happens to be a handsome farmer. We have four beautiful children, three girls and a boy.
This new venture of crafting to create an income is allowing me to continue to be at home with my kids.
Things are not always perfect in our house, most of the time life is quite chaotic. But up or down, good or bad - I can count it all joy because I am right where I am supposed to be.
I hope that the things I create can bring others joy because I am finding joy in the making. Thank again for following along. 😙
🍃🍁🍃 AUTUMN 🍁🍃🍁 My favorite time of year, cool crisp days & colors changing to deeper, darker hues. As the leaves whisper whilst they flutter in the wind, "Take out the big pot. It's time for the big pots!!" Mmmm, glistening soups, roasting root vegetables, braised briskets, stewed lamb. Oh!! The layered flavors of jambalayas & secret spices in chili!! The meals call out for bowls & not plates, while warming your bones as they travel straight to your soul.
Your heart overflowing, as full; maybe even fuller than your tummy.
The bold, earthy aroma of cinnamon, saffron, turmeric &/or clove. Swirling around & under & into; weaving there tales upon all your senses.
The joyful indulgence in a cup if hot chocolate with dollop of cream & mini floating marshmallow pillows, as you plan the season leaving & leading into winter's baking.
#Farberware nested cookware & a set of new bakeware, is just what I'm needing. 😉😄😍 ~ Jennifer René

Knitting changed my life. It has brought me lasting friendships, and given this confirmed introvert a way to come together with people around the world over a shared passion. Knitting has introduced me to hundreds of dedicated small producers, allowed me to have a career that is incredibly fulfilling, and brought me joy in ways that are too many to enumerate.
I designed Stitched Together as a visual expression of all that knitting has given me—stitching me into a community that I’d have never known existed. Both the hat and mitts are part of @avfkw’s Fall Lookbook.
What gifts has knitting brought you? Leave a comment below, I’d love to know! …
And by the way, NONE of this would have been possible without the remarkable community called Ravelry founded by @jessicamf and @caseyf. Stop and think about how much they’ve changed the world.
Took a stitched up, Frankenstein's monster-esque approach to my Halloween performance makeup yesterday. Because of that, a #monochromatic edit seemed appropriate, though it does take away the effect of my bloody eyes... Swipe to see it in color. 🖤❤
