Bok Choy (Paksoi)
Since I started gardening this is a plant I've had many problems with. I nearly gave up growing it because of the leaf miners, bad growth rate, minor to low germination of the seeds and being eaten by my chickens😑😑😑. The last time around I did things differently and it worked!! It's behavior is similar to the mustard greens(gai choy(amsoi), kaylan etc).
Next year I'll be intoducing some new mustard greens to the mix. These will be Kai Soi, Kaylan and Choy Sum.
Its almost a guarentee that my chinese stir-fry veggies will be LIT💁💁
Chicken wings and salmon! My parents don't eat salmon. They buy and cook it only because they one day noticed that I started eating it. Now even when I'm away for days, I come back home to a prepared meal with salmon. This is pure gratitude to my parents
What time is it? It's stir fry time!
What a quick, easy, healthy, and tasty way to get your veggies, and herbs, that otherwise you might not eat, like bok choy, zucchini, snow peas, cilantro and ginger. Because foods are not exposed to overheating during stir-frying, they retain most of their heat-sensitive nutrients, vs frying. It amazes me how many of my patients never use this healthy cooking technique. With so many health benefits to stir frying, my wife and I are in the kitchen together, cooking at least once a week, preparing this tasty dish! We turn on some nice music, open a nice bottle of red wine, and start cooking... it's so much fun hanging out together, and then enjoying our healthy creation. Some tips from a stir fry master, her not me....lol:
Use liquid aminos not soy sauce...its a lot healthier for you, and if you like chicken or beef, try making it separately from the vegies, and then combining at the end. This allows everything to cook more evenly. Enjoy!
