Got quite a bit of mail while I was in LA! Amazing artists and very generous! Haha take second to check them out!
@fu_season hooked it up with a huge pack that I was actually intimidate by his size 😉
@leo_anguis gave me a sweet collection of anime slaps (you may not know this but I am actually a full fledged straw hat pirate)
@fierce_unleashed delivers exactly what is promised and jumps on the opportunity to spread art and a message!
Great. Now my neighborhood sticker graffiti is lecturing me.
Indeed, I have not been walking lately. Yesterday, I took the bus a few blocks to avoid a people heavy intersection.
My carpool driver keeps asking when she’s going to get to drop me at my “long” walk spot on the way home. I tell her, “Not today, too tired, short walk.” My emotional exhaustion has trained me to go straight home. “Just go sleep it off”, it says.
I haven’t been walking and I’ve barely been listening to music. I know what that means.
The sticker is right. I need to walk more.
I need to once again use walking as the thing I have to look forward to everyday.
Though I do enjoy looking forward to and getting a good sleep, it doesn’t do as much for pulling me out of a funk as fresh air and movement.
We’ll see what I have to say when my carpool driver asks where she’s dropping me tomorrow.
Ok. For those of you in smaller towns that dont have pasting, It is not big stickers. Its images on paper glued to walls. Also know as bill posting. Surprised to find out how many people didn't know what this was. Good to get the word out about our cultural and hope to open some eyes. My contest has some of the best. Watch how its done.
The Smack North American Street Pasters Championship artist spotlight is on @odd_ones_ from South Florida. I asked him to describe his work." The name Odd Ones comes from the way I describe all my satire characters in my art. They're quite the strange collection of jokers and sci-fi individuals. I like to think my posters and stickers first catch the audiences eye because they're odd and quirky, but then they leave the viewer laughing, hopefully out loud. Peace."
