"I'd love to go to the gym, BUT"
Does this exact sentence ever cross your mind? You're not alone. We're here to debunk some common fitness myths, one at a time!
"Lifting weights will make you bulky and muscly."
Lifting weights CAN make you bulky, but the amount of training and nutrition involved makes it impossible to "accidentally" do by lifting a dumbbell. Lifting weights, even heavier ones, will help you to build lean muscle and burn fat. Not only does lean muscle create that "toned" look you're striving for, it also burns more calories while you're doing nothing at all! It's time to break up with the treadmill and start lifting yourself towards your goals, Literally! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Not sure about the equipment? Let us book you a refresher with one of our trainers! DM us to book a time.
If you truly want to hit your next level, don't be comfortable or happy with ordinary. Move toward challenge and gain that experience, even if it's from success or failure.

Tall & free like the tree~
The tree, so long as it is nourished, will continue to thrive and reach towards the sun!
Up up and away.
Sometimes branches break, other trees grow taller blocking the sunlight, lightening strikes and leaves a mark, creatures come along and eat away at the tree, the list goes on...
The point is, SETBACKS.
We all have them.
But do you let them stop you and drop into the "failure" mindset?
The Truth is, failing is just information.
For the tree, does not stop.
It keeps finding new ways to keep going and reaching towards the light, again, so long as it has its needs met.
So when it comes to the human conditioning, what is it that makes us shy away from setbacks?
Why do we drop into the "I don't want to mess up again, so let us stay in the safe zone."
The juicy goodness, some of the best, only happens when we step out of that comfort zone and try something new.
If every time something did not work out, we utilized it to put something new into form, could we stand tall and free like the tree?
Where in your life are you craving to step out of your comfort zone but haven't yet?
Please share below ;)
So much LOVE LOVE LOVE!
F%*k ya!! Been itching to check out this gym @westcoastiron and damn it was sick. Everything I want in a gym and I also ran in to @rep300 one of my favourite pro bodybuilders and still just as humble as a prairie boy!!
Have you checked out my LIVE videos on Facebook yet?!
This month I have taken on a challenge of going live daily!! Stepping out of my comfort zone and going face to face with all of you! (Or face to screen lol)
If you haven’t checked it out stop my personal Facebook page.
My son has been teaching me a couple of things lately...and I think, us adults really need to take a step back and not just watch our children, but learn a little from them too!!
Hockey has become Ethan’s life. He seriously has no fear. He isn’t scared to take risks. He isn’t scared of failure, getting scrapped up or falling down. He simply gets up, and tries again and again. He lets his passion for life outweigh his fears.
Listen up people....It is never to late to face our fears and challenge ourselves. Besides, ‘great things never come from comfort zones’.
I don’t usually talk about business or my career much on social media, but as they say, nothing great ever came from staying in your comfort zone! So for those of you who don’t know, I am a licensed lending officer in the states of KY, TN and AL. @loandepot is an amazing company to work for that offers a ton of options and truly strives to meet the consumers every need. Buying/refinancing your home has the potential to be an extremely stressful process and our company does a great job of streamlining that process to make it easier and educational for the borrower. If you or your family and friends ever have any questions about mortgages or need assistance in the home buying/refinancing process, please don’t hesitate to contact me, I’d love to help! .
Kids and I went out for lunch with nana and papa today, I wore the blue shirt (hold on, their is a point to this, I promise). Than when we got home, I immediately switched to the maroon swester. It hit me at how often I do this. I come home and quickly change into something more comfortable. Anyone else hear the theme song for "Mr. Rogers Neighborhood"? 🎶 .... "Won't you be my neighbor".... 🎶
Ok, anyway, comfortable is a nice place to be. We feel good. We are at peace. But nothing comes from it. Same way with our zone. Nothing good comes from staying in our comfort zone. We don't grow, we don't change, we don't see things we wish to see. It's when we step out and do the hard things. It's where we step into fear, we step into unfamiliar territory, it is where we take on growth, challenges, and adventure where we learn and we get to know ourselves a little bit better.
When I stepped out and took a new role as a coach, I had no idea what I was doing. I had know idea who was who. I had no idea that it meant that I would actually be buying smaller clothes and creating a lifestyle that made me feel better. Seriously, this sweater was to small when I bought it. I stepped out of my comfort zone because I needed to learn how to take care of me, I needed the challenge, and the income. My team is amazing. They are the theme song to my job. Because without them I couldn't have found my journey or this job. Stepping out is hard, but staying in your comfort zone gets old (let's face it, this sweater won't last forever). What would happen if stepped out of your comfort zone and into a lifestyle challenge for just 30 days? Do me favor and close your eyes, picture it, and message me back what you saw.
Thinking it’s time to travel again...
I love travelling, but I haven’t always, I used to love my comfort comfort zone, when I was 16-17 years old I joined the army, while it was a huge thing to do and accomplish, it was still very safe, I had the boys and we all looked after each other.
Just before my 21’s birthday I moved to Australia to be with my family as they had immigrated. I was so excited but it was still very safe as I was with family.
I applied for my residency and that got rejected, not for any particular reason, just because I wasn’t eligible. I was given 28 days to leave the country so I had a decision to make, should I go back to the uk or go and live somewhere new and exciting. I chose New Zealand because it was close to Australia, however it was such a challenge to come here with nothing, I knew 1 person... and he had a life so I couldn’t intrude just because I had nothing to do. I was so far out my comfort zone! I had nowhere to live, little money, and no job or real qualification.
A year later my life has changed! I live in a house with 3 other people, something I never thought I would do, my social media started progressing, I paid for a personal training course and turned my passion to my job, which also allowed me the freedom to work on my social media and help it grow, and most of all, all the people I have met, @hedleyfitness had a goal and this has always stuck with, he wanted to meet 3 people a day! I adopted that and I now know more people in New Zealand than I do from England and Australia combined.
Create your life guys, get out your comfort zone, so things you never thought you would or could do.
I want to make you guys feel so self empower that you can achieve anything in life... that’s my social media goal.

The years I spent telling myself I was "broken" were by far the worst years of my health. The times I dwelled on the words my family would say...like "What is wrong with you?" "I can't understand why you're always ill!" "I swear I had a normal pregnancy, I don't understand why you have so many issues." Along with so many other defeating, heartbreaking, and deflating statements; those were the times I was fueling the negative aspects of anxiety. Each comment I was approached with, I'd pretend as though it didn't bother me at the time. I'd then go home and have those same words spin endless circles in my mind. I'd repeat them to myself over and over again until I began to wonder what in fact was so wrong with me. Why was I so broken? Would doctors ever be able to ‘fix’ me? Maybe if I'm having such a negative effect on my family and friends it would be better if I just wasn't around anymore to inflict that financial, emotional and physical stress on them. I'd go back and forth with suicidal thoughts, in and out of counseling sessions, begging to find some answer to my "brokenness". Begging to lift the burden from my loved ones and myself. I now believe that educating people on the different types of counseling that are available to them is such a crucial piece of information. Counseling does not have to come only from a licensed therapist. Genuine, deep, meaningful conversation with a purpose can come from loved ones, friends, health coaches and even a passing stranger who provides you with a piece of positive and uplifting advice. As a Coach, I am here to help you heal yourself, to lead you on a path of greatness and to open your mind to the limitless possibilities of the human mind, body and spirit. You are BEAUTY. You are POWER. You are STRENGTH. You are NOT a burden.
Every moment with you is as beautiful and special as you, like a shining beautiful dream coming true, moments with you make everything beautiful and shine too. Your love and light together makes you special forever, a gift of love and light for eternity too as love shines a light so beautifully too, within your heart lies a love, light and a beautiful shining star which is always you too.
Best suggestions I can give?
1. Don’t limit yourself
2. Change your mindset change your life
3. Love with all of your heart
4. Absolutely beautiful
5. Don’t let anyone bring you down
6. Embrace love
7. You are capable
Above the horizon lies a beautiful star, a star shining so bright, that's always you. Your present destination isn’t your final destination and feel the love and light within your heart to become the very best version of yourself possible. Be the light at the end of the tunnel, truly visualise you seeing a beautiful light at the end of the tunnel, keep going, never give up and remember that beautiful light is always within you. You will always be enough and remember you have everything within your beautiful heart to achieve anything in life, the love and light in your heart will shine forever.
Remember it’s the simple things in life which make life truly beautiful, appreciate the beauty of life around you as it’s the little things in life which truly matter. Remind yourself there is only one you, you’re unique and a true beautiful gift to this world, you were born to be great and with a beautiful heart for you to believe that anything is possible.Everything starts with you, be the change you want to see in the world and remember you have everything within you to make your dreams come true.
Please do share your thoughts in the comments below, I really love hearing from you so much. Thank you so much for your support!

SOMETIMES I DON’T EVEN RECOGNISE THE PERSON I’VE BECOME ✌🏻
It’s all about pushing your boundaries and stepping out of your comfort zone.
I was a person who was painfully shy, and sometimes still can be ! 😞
BUT . . . In order to achieve my goals I need to push myself and do things that scare me.
What’s the worst that can happen ? 😊
• I REFUSE TO FAIL 🤜🏻
• I CAN AND I WILL 🤜🏻
Always work towards being the best version of you, and become the person you want to be ! 👏🏻👏🏻
𝘽𝙊𝙊𝙈!! One of the best things for me as a coach is the second when my clients bubble pops. We all build these great big stories about our lives and why life sucks and it's like we put ourselves in this bubble that is holding us back. It's not until we do some 𝙙𝙚𝙚𝙥 𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙠 that we can find a way to pop that bubble and really regain our 𝙁𝙍𝙀𝙀𝘿𝙊𝙈 and 𝙃𝘼𝙋𝙋𝙄𝙉𝙀𝙎𝙎. .
When this happens, a person changes almost instantly! They let out this deep sigh like they've been holding their breath for years, their shoulders drop, their face relaxes and eventually they form a smirk or smile. This freedom only comes though when you've made the decision to confront your demons. So dont be scared of the things that have been in your way all this time, trust me, they are only the gate keepers that you must pass to get to 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙡𝙞𝙛𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩'𝙨 𝙬𝙖𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙮𝙤𝙪!
So, I did a thing - I 1000% stepped out of my comfort zone and took on a commission that scared the crap out of me. .
See, last spring while I was slinging my hand lettered signs at the spring market for #sweettothesoulboutique this woman asked me if I thought I could paint a deer skull and letter her sons names into the antlers on the back of her jeep cover. I’m pretty sure I confidently said, “I have no idea, but I can try.” And that was the truth. I had no idea if I could, but I could lean into my limited but fundamental scope of painting knowledge and give it a shot. I even thought, if I fail I can just buy her another jeep cover to replace it. But I knew I had to try because growth happens outside of our comfort zone. .
Well folks, here is the end product. And to be honest, I was scared to death to hand this over. Would it be good enough? Would they like it? Would they see the same flaws I did? All those self defeating thoughts raged hard. I sent this picture to half a dozen good friends asking them to pick it apart and only on my nagging did they admit that perhaps one eye wasn’t symmetrical or that an antler wasn’t quite “right.” But they all basically said the same thing in the end in each of their own words: Cameron - this is beautiful and you should be proud. .
So I took a deep breath and told myself that I poured hours of love into this, I stepped into an arena of painting I haven’t really ventured in before and that hand drawn and hand painted is imperfectly imperfect and passed it off to its new owner who received it with the same amount of love. .
Needless to say, I’m so grateful that people trust me with their requests - even when sometimes I don’t trust myself. Moral of the story: say yes, especially when it scares you - that’s where you end up doing your best work. (Swipe for a detail close up). .
I haven’t worked out in a week due to sickness.
I’ve gone on walks and I’ve done light yoga,
But this time off really made me realize what an asset my exercise programs are in my life.
I found myself smiling through 90% of my workout.
Smiling because I showed up.
Smiling because I feel it working.
Smiling because even though I talked myself down this past week,
I pushed through and rose up again.
Week 2/Day 1 is done and I’m feeling more empowered than ever 💪🏼✨
Yesterday - me and the little, 30,000 feet in the air, or was it 40,000? Does it matter? It makes me so uncomfortable. But, I’ve learned that so many amazing things lie outside of my comfort zone...so I do it scared and I’m always glad I did. Experiencing Jamaica through the eyes of a seven year old is more fun than I could have imagined.
I’ve found this comfort zone thing carries over to other areas of life. How you do anything is how you do everything. #doitscared#stepoutofyourcomfortzone#thanksforthewordsearchnanasue
