Today I have a 2 hour drive to my cousins house, then we will be visiting so I didn’t want to have to think about getting my workout in. Moonlight Breakfast apron edition! Same tacky sweatshirt, same apron and six sizes smaller jeans (26 ➡️14)!!! Each fall semester during finals week the dining services on campus serves a late night breakfast during finals week and ask staff members to help serve the breakfast. Each year they give each volunteer an apron and this year it fit way better than in the past years!! I was so excited when I was able to wrap the strings around and tie the apron in the front, something I’ve wanted to do for ever and never could!!! #ApronsWithPockets

I’ve never tried @elliquark but I saw this at the store the other day and hadtohaveit. After snacking all morning, I dug into half of this for lunch and it was delicious! Banana flavored but not overly so, perfectly sweetened and super creamy! I’m curious to see what other “complete” flavors they have and can’t wait to add this to my breakfast/lunch rotation.

About time for another dirty mirror selfie, eh? 😉 I met with the high risk doctor yesterday who said I was “totally rocking out this twin pregnancy” and to be honest, that was just what I needed to hear. At 33 weeks, I’m feeling large and uncomfortable (all normal things) and it feels so nice to hear that from a medical standpoint, I’m doing great! Babies are measuring about 5 and a half pounds (baby girl) and about 6 pounds (baby boy), and it’s safe to say I’m feelin’ every ounce! I’m looking forward to starting physical therapy next week, but other than that, just making sure to soak in all the time with Landon and Charlie, while still getting some last minute organizing done. I’ve been saying this for WEEKS now but it’s crazy to think they really could be here any day now!

Day 222. Admittedly, the last four months haven’t been great calorie wise. But I’ve kept up the exercise since April religiously. Even if my weight is not where I want it to be, I feel freaking fabulous. Totally addicted to spin now and having a great time. 6:30AM feels so great. #NeverMissAMonday is the perfect way to start the week. I was planning to go to a TRX class but found out it was canceled so then I planned to go to Insanity but my booty still hurts from Saturday so third time is a charm and I decided to go walk on the treadmill. The treadmills at my school gym are way different than anything I’ve seen before and are super confusing to figure out the workouts on. Typically I just hit quick start and go but today I decided to spend five minutes finding a workout. I chose a “hard” course that had progressive inclines from 1 to 10 and increasing speeds. It was difficult but I’m glad I pushed through and got my week started off on the right foot! What did you do to move today?

Day 221. I know. This breakfast again. It’s just hard being so busy headed into the holiday. The morning is the only time I have to get on here. Was up again at 5 am for spin class. With the steroid shot and my new cycling shoes, the foot pain while I spin is almost gone except for when they start to fall asleep 3/4 of the way through. I’m telling you. I get out of there in the mornings and I feel like a million bucks. It’s like a youth elixir. I have not gone up unlimited yet, but I plan to after Christmas. As long as my feet hold out. I LOVE it! It’s the right time of the morning for me. The financial obligation as well as having to show up peer group wise is a perfect combo. Fingers crossed that my feet stay healthy. Balance was the theme of this week. And that’s okay. Learning to not beat myself up when I enjoy a food because I know I’m still taking every step towards a healthier me. I haven’t given up. Another week down, and another week that I don’t have to look back on and wish I would have started sooner, because I did. I did start, I did stay, and this is happening. Longest run to date ✅ I was looking forward to running today as much as I was dreading it. It’s cold outside and in my book Sunday’s are made for watching football and laying on the couch...some how running isn’t either of those things 🤷🏻‍♀️ but at the same time I was looking forward to the runners high/ tired af feeling I get after finishing a long run. 🏃🏻‍♀️ .

I would say this was my personal best long run so far. It felt great and honestly the first two miles were fairly “easy” and even the third mile. I did get a little tired toward the end of the third mile but pushed through and stopped when I got to a 5K so I could take a picture of my watch. After that small break I felt light on my feet and I was able to run the remaining 2.4 miles without much problem. I could have probably ran a bit further and finished running home but I chose to walk when I got to 5.5. During our run I was reflecting back to my first run with my neighbor, almost six months ago, and how different our run was today. Our first run we went 3.1 and that was hard! I walked some of that run and couldn’t talk at all during our run. Today we chatted the whole time and ran the whole time! Next weekend will be 5.75 and I’m already excited!

The hubby 👨🏻‍🦱 wanted chili for dinner + we definitely have the weather for it, so chili it was 🙌🏻🤩 In my bowl is ground beef, pinto beans & 1/2cup white rice (5). 6️⃣servings came out to 3️⃣points excluding the rice. I topped it with 1/2oz cheese (2) & tortilla strips (2). I also had 8️⃣ of these @traderjoes cornbread crisp (5). I love 💕 that chili is so low in points and you can just add whatever toppings you want! 1️⃣7️⃣points for this bowl + toppings + cornbread crisp! And you know what, I still have 3️⃣points leftover 😳Lol!! Usually on the weekends we only eat 2 meals and I had a 6️⃣point breakfast and had all the points for this!
