Flow to me is that moment when you find clarity about what you are creating, who you are going to empower and what impact your work will have in the world.
It’s like a huge download of intelligence that dumps from the cosmos right into your crown energetic center, and you can finally put all the pieces together into a vision. Today, I found Flow and got extremely clear on a lot of things that have been percolating for years now.
Everything happens as it should, and it’s all part of this beautiful process.
Exploring the human condition with a mace in hands has shifted a lot for me. there is a big community building around ancient tools, flow state, expanded and non-ordinary states of consciousness and truth and I’m excited to be a tiny part of that.

I ran 4 miles! (and it mostly sucked)... I also swung my mace (and it felt very choppy)... the road back to fitness after a long break isn’t easy,
But worth every step!
Pushing through the hard things in life makes us stronger and lead us closer to our goals. It is in the struggle that we grow.
We all have to start somewhere and it’s not easy. At some point we have to choose to do the thing that we are avoiding and that is uncomfortable or painful.
We can find so many excuses to stop or quit half way or never even start.
This crosses over in all areas of life. The emotional work I have been doing over the past year has been painful and has sucked at times... but I have reaped many benefits. The healing is permanent and the creative content that is beginning to flow makes it all worth it.
When we go through the struggle ourselves we are so much better equipped to help others through theirs.
And that’s my purpose... To help others reclaim their life of purpose and joy one step at a time.
And I am in it with you!
So wonderful to feel the ☀️ this morning! I think it hit 40 degrees today!
☀️A few swings outside at home to start the day~ I've been in the midst of a pretty severe Endometriosis flare up, so just freely swinging the Gada feels amazing.💛
☀️....Then had the pleasure of sharing my love of #maceandkettlebell with my dear friend. We grew up together (since third grade~!) and we now live close again. 🙏She's an amazing athlete~ it is so fun to train with her. 💕
☀️Learning #hardstyle#kettlebells ~ #steelmace ~ #maceflow and #Gada techniques.
#Inspire your children to move.
When the whole family is active, #parents teach their #children that #exercise is fun.
Physically active kids also are more likely to be motivated, focused, and #successful in school. And mastering physical skills builds confidence at every age.
When your children develop a love for being physically #fit , they will gain lifelong benefits.
Today Talia took me through the 4 steps of @leo__savage’s #flowfoundation . I was completely surprised that she remembered everything.
I have spent several days, months, years of my life crippled by fear. Fear of failure, fear of what people will think, fear of trying new things. So many fears and so many versions of doubt. These fears kept me at home and isolated from a lot of happiness.
At one point in my life it was suggested to me to WALK THROUGH THE FEARS OVER AND OVER UNTIL I WAS NOT AFRAID OF THEM ANYMORE. I started teaching new classes not worrying about what people thought of them as long as I loved them, I started trying new hobbies and fell deeply in love with capoeira, I spent less moments crippled by fear and more moments overwhelmed by gratitude.

The steel mace was originally a weapon of war thousands of years ago. Many cultures used the mace to strengthen their backs, shoulders, chest and forearms in training as well. In Hindu culture, the mace is called “Gada” and the martial art of wielding the Gada is known as Gada-Yuddha.
Mace and Barbells 😍😍😍... you can do that? !!!
The mace has helped me get back pain free to something I have loved for years. It’s an a-macing (@drjoeypt ) tool to help warm up the joints and reinforce PROPER movement patterns.
Looking forward to coaching more classes starting in 2019!!!
I'm almost 2 years into swinging #indianclubs and #persianmeels and I recently bought my 5th pair of clubs. These beautiful clubs weigh 15lbs each. During my first few attempts at swinging, I've realized that I need some improvements to handle the height and offset center of gravity.
Some Thoughts to Ponder:
I've said in past posts that I like to train myself and clients with progressively heavier loads. This exposes flaws in form as you cannot over-muscle a heavy load. I can clearly see from the video that I'm not expressing a full range of motion on my swings, and that I could benefit from resting the #meel on my shoulder in between swings. This would save energy while demonstrating better form.
Secondly, you should be diligent in videoing yourself from multiple angles to ensure accurate form. If you train yourself, this is ever-valuable to make on the fly form changes or improve longterm performance. Grab a small tripod (I use a gorilla pod) to set your camera phone from the front, back, and side. Trust me, this helps.
I've really taken a liking to swinging the Persian Meel. As the clubs get heavier, the demand on the shoulder grows higher. I feel strong in my shoulders, forearms, and hands after my spinning sessions. It allows me applicable strength to #bouldering and is a holistic movement that goes into all planes of movement.
REMEMBER: On April 20, 2019, I'll be hosting @wolkowinski with the help of @mesarimsd at the @mesarimacademy for a comprehensive 1 day workshop on Indian Clubs and Traditional #gada (mace). The event page should be up soon so make sure and get your early bird prices! We will be offering polymer clubs and maces for those that do not already own these tremendous training tools. DM me with questions!
Finished off some more 10lb maces yesterday. Polished and oiled. Ready to be packed and shipped off. There is 1 of the £60 maces with the crown and 2 of the £45 10lb maces available for sale. Shipping is extra.

Starting my weekend with some fun workouts! Playing around with some steel mace and animal flow with @blackcatmovement.
If you're wondering about this medieval looking thing I'm holding, it's called the Steel Mace. Steel Maces have been used by warriors and wrestlers in the Indian subcontinent for centuries.
Considering most athletic movements are done in the transverse plane like running and punching, it has a great carry over to a number of sports and everyday life. Due to the unique shape of these implements, their center of mass extends beyond the hand, allowing for an unstable generation of force, making these implements a great strengthener of grip endurance, shoulder mobility and core strength!
Have a great weekend! #steelmace#warrioryoga#Superfudo#HollandVillage
I'm just here to watch the mace as it glides overhead...Sword Swing Tripod. Here I'm bringing the mace to the ground, rolling from Plank into Tripod, paired with a sword swing. Flipping the mace once at tripod, I stab it to the ground and Extend hips. Drag the mace across the sky and stand up into warrior⚫➖➖➖➖ #maceflow#steelmace#fitness#trainer#flow#mace
