Not such a beautiful photo, I know but wanted to talk about my post #blooddonation sustenance!! Today I donated blood for the first time in ages. I had to cancel the last couple of times as I was under so much stress at the end of my studies and discovered my blood pressure had shot up. So after focusing on reducing my stress and inflammation for the last few months and taking some beautiful herbs to help balance my adrenals and lower my blood pressure, it was spot on today and I was able to donate again, something that made me very happy. I still get so angry and frustrated though at the bowls of lollies we are meant to eat before and after we donate and being constantly offered toxic and inflammation causing foods. It’s almost impossible to get out of there without an obligatory milkshake. I always take my food with me and today was no different. And thanks to @kirstiehoward_livingwell and her #40plantfoodschallenge I’m being particularly mindful this week to ensure a wide variety of plant based foods in my diet. I whizzed up this soup before I left home, it has; ginger, turmeric, onion, zucchini, butternut, cabbage, cauliflower greens and a bunch of fresh parsley and coriander....and some coconut butter and of course bone broth!!! It was bloody delicious, this is a litre jar and I drank two of them!! That’s 9 different plants and I haven’t even had dinner yet!!! It's very sunny in Singapore! Yes it maybe Hot! Yes hot and humid, very annoying but I'm grateful and thankful for being safe from natural disasters!
Many are suffering out there from different countries which are fighting for survival as a result of the natural disasters they faced respectively.
Count my blessings that I don't have to face that. My prayers to those who are affected or yet to be save or found...May you all be ease with support and lead life as normal as before soon 💓💓💓

Monday Madness done and dusted!
Woke up with sore quads and calves from saturday's brutal crossfit session @ 8h30am but i am glad i pushed through and came to this mornings class.. You gotta start somewhere..1 week at crossfit and loving every minute of it yes its hard work and you get to push yourself to the max but hard work pays off in the end.. From coming to a point in my life where i kept putting myself down saying i cant do it or its too hectic for me after many tears and a good wholesome chat with @madeleinjacobs you encouraged me to step up and join the lionsbay crossfit family..both you and @grebezaayman have been such great friends and so encouraging to me..I am super blessed to have you in my life.. The crossfit familt welcomes you encourages you to be better than yesterday.. I found myself and stopped making excuses for myself or let the enemy prevent me from reaching my goals..and feeding my head with lies.. now i say i CAN do it.
Like they say no pain no gain..I was in a very lonely spot in my life where i thought i wasn't going to make it and just wanted to give up but then i get sent the most amazing friends in my life that love and support me that doesnt want to see me fail. Crossfit has changed my mindset my entire view i have on life..Where friends become family even the coaches.. Live in the moment, never give up!

Let's talk about staying hydrated! Our bodies literally depend on water to survive. So many of us are not drinking enough of it which means, our skin, mood, energy and overall health suffer!
Let's be real though, drinking the recommended amount of water to stay hydrated (8 glasses/2 litres) can be hard! So here are some tips for staying hydrated:
-Keep an EcoThirst bottle at your desk or in your car.
-Add some tea, lemon or fruit into the bottle to enhance the taste!
-Always drink water before, after and during a workout.
-Hunger is often confused for dehydration, so when you feel hungry try having a big drink of water first. -We are often dehydrated when we wake up in the morning, so make grab your bottle and have a big drink of water before you do anything else!
