I have just returned from burial ceremony of Nsub Ulfat shaheed. I feel that my Iman has rejuvenated by the soulful experience of just being the part of Shaheed's funeral. I feel compelled to share Iman Afroz spectacle / experience which myself and all those present in funeral had the previlidge to watch and experience. A few things:
▫ Despite a lapse of 24 hours, shaheed was bleeding profusely, blood was fresh. And at times bleeding was so profuse that bubbles would form up with shaheed's left nostril. Just like he was breathing. N everyone who laid an eye on his face was chanting Allah o Akbar and Subhan Allah.
▫ It was a very hot day. There were no clouds. Myself, SM Naceed, Capt Waqas and N sub Barkat went in to pick up the coffin from house. N when we came out there was such a cool breeze with clouds all over. I have never experienced clouds building so fast even in my tenure at Siachen and Razmak. It was a matter of max 30 secs. The cool breeze was so fresh that on a hot humid day of Monsoon, it could only be a welcome from jannah.
▫ When we lowered the shaheed in grave. Drizzle started. Before placing the stone over face glass. I made a man clean the glass for one last sight of Shaheed's face. N Allah o Akbar. He was still bleeding with bubbles being made and popped on his nostrils.
▫ When we started filling the grave. Drizzle turned in to rain and the down pour was such that I felt our souls being cleansed.
▫ May Allah and all those who were with me there be my witness that I have never seen such a poetic send off of any person in my life. That misra of a national song kept resounding in my head
"تمہیں خدا کی رضائیں سلام کہتی ہیں"
▫ Khuda Hafiz Ulfat Sahab, you, beyond doubt are at a better place. May Allah bless every Muslim a return like that. I am still overwhelmed with that experience n thought that before the affects of this trance mitigate, I must share wat i saw today.
With humble regards,
