Unexpected PRs are the best PRs! After breaking my ankle on a PR attempt a little over two years ago, I’ve only attempted to PR back squat once in almost two years. -First squat in the video was my 2nd attempt and I was satisfied for the most part. Second clip in the first video was my 1st attempt that I thought was a little high but looked solid enough to where I felt like I could give it another go.
-Second video is just some lil accessory shit I did.
DB RDLs with toes elevated so it forces a little more hip hinge and I can feel it more in my hamstrings. I am pretty flexible and hypermobile so it’s taken some trial and error to find what works for me. Then GHD, really great to do for that glute/ham tie in area with some added core and hip stability— requires a little more mind-muscle connection (also probably the most difficult to do for me out of all three in this post)

We started by deconstructing squat pose, seeing how our sedentary lifestyles can really impact hip mobility & lead to tight & weak muscles around the hips. Low Squat is a great pose to test how happy your hips are. 🎬🎬🎬 LegZzZ yesterday!!! 🎬🎬🎬 So hit my PB squat with 1 rep max - no spotter at 70kg!

I remember hitting that 70kg early this year with a spotter and didn't really continue heavy squats but definitely getting back on them now ! 
Legs have come a long way since early this year and more power behind them so I'm literally over the moon with this progression!

A small snippet of a booty workout which @naureen.b showed me ! Wow! Hit me hard ! Vertical cable kick backs ! 🔥🙈 Box jumps are an all time favourite! And of course some split squats ! 🔥🔥🔥 Getting so hyped for next LegZzZ and peach session!

🇬🇧 Well, you can't always be as strong as you'd like 😕 I'm still suffering from a micro tear in my quad that hasn't healed due to me having to cycle for work. Today I only managed to do 5 reps on 102.5kg after hav9ng cycled last night. But hey ho ! 🙂

You’ve seen this leg day before because I do it every week but there’s a reason for that! Strength training has epic leg and booty shaping power and obvs it makes you stronger too so win win! ⁣⁣

The compound lifts in this workout are your staples and I’d recommend you do these at least once a week. Even if you wanna gain in your upper body, you need strong legs in order to build a stronger upper bod. Plus people with upper body gains and tiny chicken legs look totally ridiculous 😂 AMIRITE⁣⁣

I always try to stay positive and not focus on the scale. But I have hit a plateau and I feel like I have been stagnant for 3 weeks when it comes to a weight loss aspect. Thanks goodness for this guy, even when I’m down on myself he helps pick me back up. Life is scary, find your Boo 👻
