I haven’t been on social media too much lately. I began to notice an anxiety that came with scrolling my screen over and over. We live in a society that is revolved around social media. We spend so much time focusing our energy on other people’s lives that we forget to live our own. Social media makes it so easy to compare your life to the unrealistic showcase of photos that everybody else shares. The fact is, nobody’s life is perfect. Nobody always looks like a supermodel in a bikini standing in ridiculously blue water on a beach somewhere in the world. Nobody is going to post a photo with their double chin, belly rolls, or tears streaming down their face. When in reality, we are all human and all have bad days. We all have bad hair days, sad days, hard days, we all have belly rolls, we all cry, we all get zits, the list goes on. A few thoughts began to stir inside my head when I noticed this scrolling anxiety. If looking at other people’s lives makes me envious or sad about my own life, then why am I not doing more to make the changes necessary so I do feel fulfilled? I am the only one who can chase after my dreams and make them happen. What can I do to work towards absolutely loving the life I’m living. So much so that when I scroll and see other people’s life highlights posted, I just smile with happiness for them rather than question and doubt everything about myself and my life. I think it’s important to take a bit of a break from the social world every now and then to check in with yourself. Take some time to focus your energy on your OWN life. Are you truly happy? Do you feel fulfilled? If both of those answers are no, what can you do to change that. Because the reality is, YOU are the only one who has the power to change anything. I could go on, but I only have so many characters to write on this little platform, and I just wanted to pop on here and share this bit of insight I’ve acquired lately. Stop comparing and be present with YOURself in YOUR life. Remember, you are BEAUTIFUL, strong, amazing, and can create anything you want for yourself. Never stop striving for the life you dream of and embrace every aspect of the journey getting there. 💕
Ah... fall. When the baked goodies keep coming from the oven and your leaf pile keeps blowing into the neighbors yard. (We might have to gift them a loaf of this Apple Bread)
Life has been extremely challenging lately and so I want to do more of what makes my heart happy.... 💖😌 I LOVE to assist others and be able to put a smile on faces. If I can assist even one person by giving them hope, or assist in their healing, that to me is what life is about. Serving others. I am a healer. I know that is my calling in life.
And when I feel down this is what cheers me up. 🤗
I have decided to take everything I make from my cbd commissions and gift it to others in the form of cbd. I want to gift it to those that could greatly benefit from it but might not be able to afford it at this time. 💚
This is where I could use ALL of your help!! 🙏
#1 - The more people that order their cbd from mygreenhorizen.com and put my name (Jessica Jones, Dreads) as the person that gets credit at checkout that will allow me to be able to gift more cbd. 🌱💚🌱 *
#2 - If you know someone that is deserving of being gifted cbd and could use some assistance please message me. 🌻
I am only able to gift as much as I get back in my commission checks so the more orders, the more I can gift. I have 4 bottles that already been gifted. 🍀 *

👇😻read Sabine’s story below👇😻 This one goes out to all her people! 🐾Sabine was born in 2005 and became homeless after her elderly owner passed away in 2010. 🐾 I had the privilege of meeting her dedicated feeder, Jack. He made great efforts to reunite her with her owner which is how he learned her story. Unfortunately, he has instead relied on feeding her day and night for years. 🐾 Sabine LOVES to sit in laps. I of course have dedicated my own warm lap for some sitting. So has a young child named Kayla who comes to visit with her mother. And a recent Cal grad named Wendy. ❤️💫 so much love from so many people have been given to support this beautiful soul of a feline! So now an invitation for you.... ❤️💫take a moment to think of all the people who have contributed to you becoming who you are today. All those people who have loved you and supported you. 🙏💫 Take a pause to give thanks. And, perhaps this brings up some thoughts of the kind of support that can benefit you now. People to help you heal? To thrive? To lean on during a rough patch? To play with? To develop you, love you or party on down with?
This ones for Jack - a heart of gold full of cat-loving commitment and spreading joy in the tales of these tails! And to all of you, because we’re all doing something that matters to someone we love.

I have an obsession with power words. Motivating for performance is something I believe I’m good at. But sometimes there is beauty in simplicity. So i hope one of these tells you what you need to hear today:
You can do it
I believe in you
It’s going to be okay
You’re doing great
I’m proud of you
You’ve come so far
Don’t give in
It will be worth it
I’m busy as heck, on a budget, and need to look professional everyday. I applied these Color Street nail strips on Monday. Since then I’ve cleaned my house, including scrubbing dishes, worked each day(with lots of typing), kept my children (including a sick baby) alive, and now I’m just finishing up at the gym. 5 full days later, these still look flawless and were $13. No polish compares and I don’t have time or money for the salon. They really are the perfect solution for a busy, working momma! ........................................................................................Hit me up if you wanna try for yourself ..............................................................#realtalk#spreadthelove#easy#affordable#busy#busymom#momlife#thestruggleisreal#workingwoman#colorstreet#mani#diy#doityourself#bloodygorgeous#glitter#ombre#black#red
