Hell Hounds: Eastern New Mexico worked their triple option to perfection, while roughing up West Texas A&M on defense with a 28-0 drubbing on Saturday at Kimbrough Memorial Stadium.
The Greyhounds shut out the Buffaloes for the first time since 1992, and claimed the Wagon Wheel traveling trophy for the fourth time in five years. #sportsphotography#lscfb#d2football
Day 16 of 22. Wherever whenever. -22 days of 22 push ups for PTSD and suicide awareness
I nominate @moorale2
The rules are simple:
* Once you are nominated your 22 days starts the following day
* Every day you record yourself doing 22 push-ups, try your best to reach 22. If that means doing assisted (from your knees or even from a desk or the wall) push-ups or that you have to stop and take a break that’s fine but try to get them all done in one video. Copy and paste this message, and attach your video to post on social media.
* Every day you must nominate a different person, try to choose people you think will want to do this and/or have the ability to do it
* And finally, have fun with this. This is a simple and fun way to get the word out about a matter that more people need to be aware about. These brave men and women put their lives on the line to protect our freedoms only to get out and feel lost. It’s sad that so many good veterans feel that suicide is the only way out. #activeheroes #carrythefallen #22tozero #22pushups #22kill #22pushupchallenge#suicide #ptsdawareness #fitness#military#militaryaircraft#jets#merica#navy#usmilitary#veteran#usa#usnavy#freedom#patriot#fitness#winnning#fun#sweat#workout#photography#sportsphotography#sportphotography#maxpreps
Over the next 22 days, starting now, I will be doing 22 push-up’s a day and posting about it on my social media accounts.
The Howard University Men’s and Women’s Swimming & Diving Teams hosted their first home meet for the season Saturday at Burr Gymnasium…and both dominated over the Chowan University Hawks. The highlight of my day was….as I left the gym headed to the HU men’s soccer game—I heard my name being called by some folks I didn’t know. They turned out to be the father & mother of @speakmansmith —an amazing breast stroker on the men’s team. The family had flown up from Jacksonville, FL along with their younger son, for the weekend—to see Speakman compete. They called me out to thank me for my photography…they said for how I had photographed their son (and the team) over the last year on a high-quality level. They said they followed me on IG—and I guess they recognized me from my IG profile pic. It was quite humbling, and they were so genuine. I then offered to take their pic—but Speakman had to be summoned out of the gym to meet up for the pic. This, to me, just conveyed how important and empowering serious photography can be in communicating the accomplishments as well as struggles of collegiate athletes to their loved ones who may be spread across the country, and the globe. It warmed my spirit. This was a very special moment. You have a great family, Speakman! Pics 2 & 3 are of Speakman competing in (and winning) a breast stroke heat a little while earlier that same day. @hubisonsports @howard1867 @howardu1867 @huprez17 #hbcu#howarduniversity#swimming#blackkidsswim @huswimanddive @huswimming #bleedblue#neversatisfied @afroswimmers @dwchamp30 #howardforward#sportsphotography#collegiatephotography @askewnic
