Yeah I thought I was being funny but I just look old 😂 ANYWAY. What can I say about this guy @dloadingv... it’s been a long season and it started with convincing him to have surgery on his toe, meaning he’d miss the start of the season and have to go through a long and lonely rehab process. He did that and kept smiling and kept talking in that trash fake American accent ✅ then right when he was looking good and starting to race, he pulled his hamstring. More time with medical and with s&c. But again he put in the hard work and here we are ✅ My final day with Speedworks as the season ends, and it couldn’t be on a higher note, the guy went and ran a PB💨 @dele would be proud (of him not me) Onwards and upwards and faster! Glad to have played a part and thoroughly enjoyed my time heading up medical for a great group like @speedworks.charity under the guidance of @m_s_training and alongside @liammistry_s_c 💪🏽💪🏽 and @purus_active - we’ve had some great interns this year @paddidash @jolopezosteopath @jennie_holmes @francis_on_a_bike @dushanejoshua @joelkeefe and the German machine @cmontague97 - it’s been a pleasure working with you all! Big thanks to @eatsleeptrain_ and @julieholls for giving me the opportunity two years ago to start with @speedworks.training - has given me incredible opportunities to work with @britishathletics among others... highly recommend the internship programme they are now recruiting for next season! Check it out! #osteopathy#sportsmedicine#osteo#physio#physiotherapy#massage#sportsmassage#trackside#trackandfield#track#medicine#intern#therapist#therapy

🎁🎉🎉WE ARE ONE YEAR OLD!!!!🎉🎉🎁 I cannot believe Quay Fitness Training has been open for business for a whole year today! I am immensely proud of what I have achieved in my first year and want to say a MASSIVE thank you to all my clients past and present for all their support, hard work, encouragement and for spreading the word about QFT. And my family and friends for their love and support too. I wouldn't be celebrating a year without you all ❤
I was warned the 1st year being self employed would be the hardest and most likely time that I would fail. So I am relieved I have survived it. It was tough, scary, emotional but also amazing, fun, exciting and the best thing I have ever done.
Here's to another brilliant year to come. More clients, more sweat, more massages and meeting new people 🤗🙌 Stay tuned for an anniversary giveaway!!!! #Quayfitnesstraining#QFT#Fareham#oneyearanniversary#celebrating#Thankyou#privategym#personaltraining#sportsmassage#remedialmassage#GIVEAWAYCOMINGSOON
Even though my back is still hurting me I’m getting loads of help from my amazing sponsor Rosie to get back to my riding fitness whilst being as comfortable as I can! 💪🏼 Thank you so much 🙏🏼😘 #Repost @rs_sportsmassage with @get_repost
5 month’s after fracturing her spine @josefingyllensward is back on the massage table! 🙌🏽 Surprisingly the fracture was at the front of Josie’s spine, so we’re still having to take treatment very slowly and working within Josie’s comfort zone.
Her upper body has compensated for the fracture in the lumbar region, and were currently working on loosening all trap fibres, levator scapulae and supraspinatus muscles. Here’s hoping for a speedy, pain free recovery 🤞🏼 #roadtorecovery#dressagerider#sportsmassage#softtissuetherapist#fracture#horserider#injuryrecovery#backproblems
💥🔥 PENDLAY ROW. If you want to add in some more upper body pulling exercises then start here. If you can stay strict, it’s a great way to use the upper body pulling muscles. Avoid using the whole body to pull the weight from the floor. Note the 1 second hold when the bar hits my chest. 💥🔥
Most people experience knee pain at some point in their lives. Sports, exercise and other activities can cause muscle strains, tendinitis, and more serious injuries to ligaments and cartilage. For some, #kneepain can be so severe that it limits daily activities 😔
Our #Kunzea Cream or Balm are the products we recommend to new customers looking for fast relief from knee pain 💚 🌿
To all the incredible students receiving their A Level results today (mine feel like a life time ago!) You’ve got this! 🙌
There have been many tension filled shoulders, necks and back over the last few months finding their way onto the massage table (both students and parents 😊)
If things don’t go to plan, change the plan ❤️

Muscles are the drivers of movement. They keep us up standing, enable us to move and walk, and maintain our posture. Through the course of the day the muscles become fatigued, full of lactic acid and as a result they begin to feel tight and stiff. The stiffness is really a response from the nervous system and results in further tightening of the back muscles. one of the best ways to alleviate it is to apply manual therapy techniques, like sports massage therapy. Passively mobilising the muscles helps to improve small blood vessel circulation, de-sensitise the nervous system and restore the muscles back to their flexible state. Essentially, the stroking and manipulation of the tissues helps to drive the release of endorphins. This settles the nervous sensitivity and gives the feeling of the muscles becoming less tight and sore.
