I have set the LORD always before me;
Because He is at my right hand I shall not be moved.
Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoices;
My flesh also will rest in hope.
For You will not leave my soul in Sheol,
Nor will You allow Your Holy One to see corruption.
You will show me the path of life;
In Your presence is fullness of joy;
At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.
Parents and grandparents are always asking what presents 🎁 they can get for their little one for birthdays and the holidays that promote speech and language development. Some general recommendations I always give include:
1. Open-ended toys that can be played with more than one way (e.g., blocks, play dough, puppets, toy food, Mr. Potato Head, baby doll)
2. Early turn taking games that can be used to teach joint attention, turn taking, and some basic vocabulary
3. Books! 📚Reading books with different topics exposes your child to vocabulary that he or she may not hear everyday and helps them to better understand the world around them

As we’re in this season of giving, My SMP @pinky_von_d had it in her heart to start a SOCKS & SNACK Drive for parents with children in the PICU; as she, herself personally knows the feeling of parenting a #specialneedschild . The PICU is the section of the hospital that provides sick children with the highest level of medical care. How long a child stays in PICU depends on their condition. Some stay a single day while others may require weeks and or months. Staying around the clock with a child in PICU can be both physically and emotionally draining. The slightest comforts can help ease family stress allowing parents to better support their child. It's for this reason we need your HELP!! This Friday December 14 2018 @halftime_on_h 1427 H St NE, 7-9PM she will be accepting donations. So please find time in your hearts to support and help her complete this selfless mission. Also, please send prayers up as her son Munch is still fighting in the PICU.
For those who are interested in making donations but aren’t able to make the donation location, feel free to message me, I’ll make myself available to assist with this. Remember it takes a VILLAGE‼️‼️
Not acting sick at all, just ornery... (she gets that from her Daddy). 😆 🤦🏻♀️ Thank you so much for all your prayers. Natalie still has some coughing and yucky trach secretions going on, but home is best. ❤️ #trachlife
