selfmade saturday. because I am still in recovery mode since 5 days (nevertheless I could not keep off work at 80% bc I was too bored) I did some lavender soy wax candles in the morning (because I had so many leftover baby food jars) and vegan kimchi in the evening.
side notes: • soy wax is more ecofriendly than the usual paraffin/stearin/palmoil petroleum based candles. • they burn slower and are plantbased (unfortunately I could not find them 100% bio)
• kimchi is a korean traditional side dish made from fermented vegetables/ chili powder/ garlic/ginger/...
• fermentation (metabolic process) is used for preservation since ages
• fermented foods contain probiotics (lactic acid-producing bacteria) which are good for the digestive system, are rich in enzymes, improve heart health and the immune system in general. #diysaturday#diy#soywaxcandles#soywax#vegan#kimchi#kitchen#berlin#neukölln#homeismycastle#recovering#gold#interior#lavender#foodjars#zerowaste
