We attended a wedding this past weekend. (Hope you were able to catch some of the behind the scenes in my insta-story yesterday.) It was filled with so much love and joy! I witnessed all the family & friends coming together, celebrating and cheering on as these two decide to spend the rest of their lives together ❤️ As some of you may know, we don’t have any family near us. So when we made the decision to stay in the U.S., we realized that we have to do life without the help of our families. But thank God for friends! We are grateful for the many friends who came along our lives! 💞 Who are you thankful for? Be sure to send them a text or write a note to let them know how much you love them!
Closing out with a picture of my favorite view at Petit Jean grave site. I love Arkansas for its unexplored beauty. On the trip I got a chance to experience the best fall I have ever witnessed in my life and also gave me the opportunity to connect with nature at a deeper level.
Hope you all too had a great fall too.
Let me know what you all thought of the journey through Arkansas over the last few days?
Can’t wait to take you on a journeys through the “land of 1000 lakes”.

This past weekend I met up with some strangers on the internet. Hahah, it’s not as creepy as it sounds. We met over Instagram + ended up making new friendships, drank one too many margaritas + DANCED our asses off for hours to (obviously) 90’s throwbacks.
It’s pretty amazing that Instagram brought us all together. Like, hey, thanks @instagram!
Now - who’s ready for round TWO?! 🙋🏼♀️
It feels so good to be back with my camera and out shooting again. I was definitely in a creative rut for far too long and lacking in the inspiration department. I felt like I was only taking photos for the masses vs for myself and what actually fuels me. This time around I want to challenge myself to play more with light at any time of day, embrace how shadows make intriguing subjects, and to just let my photos be moody when I want them to be. 🙆🏻♀️
