The clocks: water clock, sundial, ship’s clock, H4 clock, Prague Astronomical Clock, my alarm clock, the Long Now clock, a crystal lattice atomic clock, and an iWatch. Plus some books and formulas.
Weak: van der Waals bonds in a water droplet.
Angular: angular diameter - the size of a stellar object as seen from a particular POV.

Total fusion (ish!) perfect brunch, inspired by @katielshore and @chocdaisy. British toast, Japanese organic miso, Mexican avo*, Brussels sprouts and Chilli chilli flakes(!). Really delicious, and utterly moreish. *The avocado was leftover from Sunday and was kept amazingly fresh for two days in a beeswax wrap. I was gobsmacked to see no browning when I unwrapped it, even without lemon juice! F in FOUNT is for Fuel. What type of eater are you? I’m a hormonal eater with a little stress eater mixed in. So you know it was on when my car broke down outside Jays chicken shack a few days before my period was to start(tmi😒). I seriously can’t remember the last time I had fried chicken, this one was good. Plus I chased it with some ice cream. I use light therapy, vitamin D supplements, essential oils, and exercise to help with seasonal depression... And even though it's supposed to be nice this week, it's been awhile since I've seen the sun! Plus it takes awhile for this to all build up in my system - so out it comes!
Why vitamin D?
Vitamin D deficiency is a REAL thing peeps. Especially in this area during the winter months, we simply do not get enough natural sunlight to keep our levels up!! It can cause weakness, tiredness, depression... I talk to my doctor about an appropriate dose!
Why light therapy?
This bright light mimics sunlight.... And helps with SAD with no side effects. Sign me up!
Why essential oils?
Essential oils have the ability to penetrate cell membranes and travel throughout the blood and tissues in a matter of minutes. They have been used throughout history medicinally... And I don't know about you, but that's good enough for me! I've found a few combos that have been amazing for mood! (As well as other uses!) Why exercise?
It releases feel-good endorphins into my body AND bonus--> takes my mind off of my worries, or the fact that winter may last 6 months and it's probably going to get to 30 below 😜 more than once.
I am still going to have bad days, I'm still going to wish for sun, and I'm still going to beg Nate to sell everything and move to Florida #sorrynotsorry
But this is all going to help me! Modifying my lifestyle so that I feel my best... instead of pumping my body full of meds that I maybe could avoid--> that's what I'm working on. Sorry for dropping that Inktober ball guys. I sort of lost inspiration not to mention with the shifts I work it was incredibly difficult to get out one per day. Back to dallas after a relaxing and totally stress-free weekend in Lexington celebrating our friends’ wedding. It’s incredible how the outdoors and slower pace calms my mind❤️.
