Spent my bday in Peru, and it was wonderful... for the most part. Lol, despite my altitude sickness and hiking (dying) 5-days to Machu Picchu, I’m almost not allowed to complain because I got the see a world wonder with my fav person in the world #✨🖤⚡️ though if you plan to visit, consider doing stair master everyday, at least three weeks prior to prep, seriously. Thank you for the birthday wishes 😘😘 #sorebum#machupicchu#cusco#alpaca
LITTLE MERMAID MOUNTAIN 16km return hike from Wirrabara Rd Mt Crosby. As far as physical fitness it’s pretty easy compared to its bigger sister Mermaid Mt, but the terrain is very rocky and loose and one slip of the foot and I was on my butt. Ouch. The views are worth it and as usual I get excited when I’m on a cliff. @girl_gets_lost I could see quite a few unmapped trails where you could easily have gotten lost... 😂 there is probably a loop track to be made but I needed to be back home in time for work again 😂
Bumday. Bum, booty, tushy in Portuguese: bumbum, bunda.
Unless you’re Brazilian or have been to Brazil you won’t know how this part of the body is extremely appreciated in my home country.
Brazilian women are usually more curvy than Europeans and the “bumbum” has been part of our history, unfortunately most of the times is the first thing that attracts a man and the first thing a Brazilian man will notice. Because of Carnaval “Brazilian Bums” got famous all over the world.
But within Brazil, the fixation with the perfect derriere goes much further back into the country’s history. Gilberto Freyre, the late Brazilian anthropologist credited as one of the few able to explain some of Brazil’s complicated cultural nuances, suggested that Brazilian ideas around perfect backsides go back as far as colonization.
As for my “bumbum” I’ve always tried to cover it as much as I could as I used to be know as “sem bunda” or “tábua de passar” which means “flat bum” and “iron board”. Today, I know that my gluteus don’t make me feel less or more attractive and I have way more than gluts to make me attractive or interesting. Still it took me a lot of courage to post this. •
Morning Breakfast shake with rolled oats and whey protein.
Weigh in yesterday was not what I hoped for but 2kgs down is a win and we gotta celebrate the small wins along the way to appreciate the big ones.
I will never allow myself to weigh 3 digits On the scale ever again.
So even if it means going at it slowly like a snail 🐌, I am still moving😂
Thank you @hamiltonshealth 💪🏽💪🏽
Going to work even harder this week to make next week memorable 💪🏽🌻🌻
Throwback to when I was a new mummy of 2 boy under 1 1/2 💕 a lady sitting on the table next to us having lunch with her friend told me I’d have another baby and it would be a girl . We laughed at her . We were in the thick of the newborn days . My nether regions were sore , my boobs ached and we were tired af. 😂 #goodtimes
