so I’ll be honest I’m not trying to “get lean” or loose weight in any way. I’m pretty happy with how I feel in my body most days. I am strong and healthy for the most part and that’s good enough for me. Although when I started working a lot I realized how relaxed I came with my food choices. I was okay with eating food I didn’t make, a handful of french fries when I was running around, salad that probably has sugar, and dairy in the dressing. For god sakes I even ate meat accidentally a few times lol. 😅 Yet the more “relaxed” I became about my food choices the more honestly crappy my body felt (low energy, break outs, bloating, and all) so lately I’ve been making a serious effort again to prep and eat REAL food. I’ve been making these @fishpeople_seafood kits around once a week with a side of veggies and it’s been my life savor no joke. 1 package of @fishpeople_seafood chipotle fish kit
1 head of kale
Apple cider vinegar
Crunchy pea shots (optional) or sub any type of crunchy nut
Wash and de-stem kale, then massage with 1/2 avocado, salt, ACV, and nutritional yeast.

After a weird sleep schedule this week, it felt SO good to wake up without an alarm today! I guess I was tired because I clocked 12 hours last night 😂 I whipped up this quick and simple lunch and brought it with me to work today 🙌🏼 I don’t eat a lot of cod mostly because I don’t know the best way to season it, so that’s where @fishpeople_seafood saves me! Late lunch at home because I unexpectedly have the day off from work! I got called in to work last night until midnight, so I’m relaxing and savoring this delicious meal 😍 I baked more of my favorite @fishpeople_seafood lemon and herb panko wild salmon (I pick mine up at the @ralphsgrocery around the corner from my apartment, it’s the only place I can find it!) and sautéed some Tuscan kale in coconut oil 🙌🏼 On a side note, does anyone have recommendations for patio furniture? I’m REALLY picky about the seafood I eat (pretty much only eat sushi at @bamboosushi), because there’s so much mislabeling and corruption *like, slavery* in the seafood industry. I’m SO STOKED to be working with Portland B-Corp @fishpeople_seafood. This company sources all seafood from American fishermen and fisherwomen and only harvests from healthy stocks as recommended by the @montereybayaquarium @seafoodwatch. let’s talk about how HEARTY this bowl of soup was💆🏻♀️ @fishpeople_seafood wild salmon chowder was just what i needed after a busy morning...i went for a run, pumped out 3 loads of laundry and took care of 3 very needed kids who are on summer vacation 🙄
what really brought this soup to the top was the FRIED CILANTRO 🍃if you’ve never tried doing this before with cilantro you need to bc it’s so darn easy. all you do is add a little avocado oil to a small skillet and add your cilantro ((make sure you dry it real good first with a paper towel after rinsing)) it gets all crispy and is DELICIOUS .

organic jasmine rice, chopped radish, lime wedges and gluten free everything but the bagel seasoning crackers which all complimented this bowl of salmon chowder so nicely! enjoy the rest of your day friends. so far for me it’s been pretty long and i’m ready for dada to come home and rescue me 🙏🏻 #SoFishticated#nurturingbodyandmind
