We've had quite the week of hot weather. It's time to make my husband's favorite chocolate peanut butter banana ice cream!!! It's delicious and has no refined sugar! . . . 🍴. . .
In a food processor or a blender add:
-2 chopped frozen brown bananas
-2 heaping spoonfuls of nut butter
-2-3 heaping Tbs cocoa powder
-Dash of vanilla
-A few Tbs to 1/4 cup milk (just enough to not burn out your processor or blender when blending)
It's good all by itself or topped with nuts, cacao nibs, shredded coconut, blueberries, etc. .
. . . 🍴. . . .
This artichoke and cauliflower hummus I made last week is so delicious! I’m not a huge fan of artichoke...(yep, I said it), but I’ve been wanting to focus on some liver-loving foods and artichoke is a great one. It’s actually a relative of milk thistle. They can help stimulate bile flow. So, I wondered if I turned the artichokes into hummus if I’d enjoy them better, and I sure have! It’s sooo good on radishes. I used frozen and then lightly steamed artichoke hearts, a little steamed cauliflower, tahini, ACV, sea salt, garlic scape, and @kasandrinos EVOO! It made a big batch, so I froze half and it’s as great thawed as it was fresh! I highly recommend trying it! I also love that when I eat it, I’m eating veggies on veggies because I’m alll about the veggies! 😍
