Day 11 of Places to Visit: Dataran Merdeka. Once colonised, the architecture reflects a time when Malaysians were under rule of the British Empire. But today this space is where Malaysians celebrate their independence annually, celebrating the beauty of Malaysia’s multiracial-religious country.

Your excuses aren't going to pay the bills this month and they sure as hell won't pay for your dreams.
So stop making excuses, stop looking for reasons why everyone else is getting ahead and stop looking for the easy way out!
I'm going to make it simple for you...
Don't worry about what everyone else is doing, just start focusing on yourself and working on the areas of your life that will allow you to move forward!
Now I know for many of you, the definition of "Work Harder!" is confusing to you. Because you already think you work hard and are exhausted every day and feel like you are giving it everything you've got and still not seeing any real progress.
So let's simplify things. Working harder means that you work on all areas of your life, not just your work or your job.
I often say that all things in our lives are work. Going to the gym, meditating, finding time to work on yourself as well as rocking up to work and doing your job is considered work.
Working harder means that you put more into the day and find a way to raise your energy levels and productivity levels, so that you can function at a very high level for long periods of time - as in years and decades.
Working harder means that you use your free time to develop yourself to such a degree, that you become the very best that you can be. Regardless of your career or income or lifestyle.
Every waking minute should be dedicated to working harder! Pushing yourself and finding ways to do the things which move your soul and allow you to feel alive. Whether that means working harder on your relationship, family or business.
Work harder! Don't fear working harder and putting more of yourself into your life, your career, your passion projects and the ones you love.
There should be no separation between work and any other part of your life. Work is ultimately the only thing that will make you happy and it's not defined by your income or what you do for a living. It's defined by you and what you consider to be the compete embodiment of your life's work.
Don't fear working harder, embrace it and enjoy it! Because it's your life that you are building and creating.
Give yourself grace as a business owner🌙👇⠀
Getting into business with yourself should begin with a written agreement... hear me out:⠀
It's okay to acknowledge that it's HARD to have 40 billable hours per week (i.e. trying to achieve productive, income-generating work 40+ hours per week)⠀
It's okay to then, need to raise your prices or hourly rate.⠀
It's okay that some days you need to ask yourself for 1-hour off from your workday.⠀
It's okay to reward yourself, celebrate accomplishments, and humble brag to people who will listen.⠀
It's okay to not be 100% on-point each day.⠀
It's okay to pivot.⠀
It's okay to change.⠀
It's okay to follow your heart, instead of listening to the noise of the world around you.⠀
It's all ok. You're learning, just like the rest of us⠀
Grace: It's a practice, but it works wonders in keeping spirits high.⠀
Also, 4/5 major brands are already using the Stories format! Needless to say, 2019 is going to be a huge year for Facebook and Instagram Stories. Social Media is a constant changing scene and this is just another example of that. If you're having a hard time keeping up, give me a call! 🦁 ⠀

🌴WEEKLY SOCIAL CHALLENGE 🌴This week I want you to head to a local coffee shop (like this gorgeous one @astervictoria shot by and featuring a London fav @victoriametaxas) and only work on your social media for ONE HOUR. Put a block on your calendar right NOW! Set a timer, close your email, shut down all other programs, and put your phone on do not disturb.
Here are some ideas for what you could work on:
🌴Plan out the rest of your December content + the first week of January so you're not stressing over the holidays. Schedule as much as you can in @Planoly or your scheduling tool of choice.
🌴Write down your 2019 goals for growing your social media + brainstorm ideas on how to get there (collaborations, ads, new content series).
🌴Spend that hour with a photographer, influencer, or someone you want to collaborate with on social media and make some actual plans to work together!
🌴Book an hour consult with me 😉, yes shameless plug I know.
🌴Organize your Stories into Highlights.
🌴Create some hashtag groups and save them.
Which one of these is most important to you? I would love to know so I can build this into my Live series coming in 2019!
Marketing to other businesses is quite different than marketing to consumers. B2B buyers usually make their purchasing decisions based on the price and profit potential of a product alone. On the other hand, consumers typically choose products based not only on price, but on popularity, status and other emotional triggers.
Who is your marketing strategy talking to?
“The grid system is an aid, not a guarantee. It permits a number of possible uses and each designer can look for a solution appropriate to his personal style. But one must learn how to use the grid; it is an art that requires practice.” —Josef Muller-Brockmann

Just wanna give everyone who’s planning their next trip a quick tip- Don’t. 😶
The best memories is always created through #spontaneous decisions. I love @nike ‘s trademark #justdoit , it’s so simple yet so powerful. Especially in being spontaneous and eliminating the ‘what if?’.
We should all strive towards eliminating those two words from our dictionaries. How many times haven’t you gotten a brilliant idea, but then you questioned yourself, ‘what if?’ and didn’t do it... I bet a few.

Mindset is everything. 🙇🏽♂️
Simple statement... But our mindset is truly the base for success at any level in our lives. If you can cultivate the mindset + habits of an ultra-successful person, you have already won 80% of the battle. #MindsetFirst
Then spend some QT on social media...being social! ⠀
This means more than just a double tap and ❤️️ in the comments. ⠀
This means: ⠀
✔ Asking questions ⠀
✔ Starting conversations ⠀
✔ Responding to comments ⠀ ✔ Sharing posts ⠀
✔ Interacting with stories ⠀
✔ Showing support for others wins ⠀
✔ Providing value ⠀
Here's an extra little tip: Set aside some time each day even if its 15 minutes to engage with your audience and others in your niche. This will not only help grow your following but when others see you supporting them they will be more willing to support you back. **Don't forget to include a call to action to your post to prompt your audience to comment, and once they do..make sure to respond! ⠀
I'd love to know some other ways you are engaging on Instagram!👇🏼
