"In the social production of their life (that is, in the production of the material values necessary to the life of men – J. St.), men enter into definite relations that are indispensable and independent of their will, relations of production which correspond to a definite stage of development of their material productive forces." (Marx, Selected Works, Vol. I, p 269) “This, however, does not mean that changes in the relations of production, and the transition from old relations of production to new relations of production proceed smoothly, without conflicts, without upheavals. On the contrary such a transition usually takes place by means of the revolutionary overthrow of the old relations of production and the establishment of new relations of production. Up to a certain period the development of the productive forces and the changes in the realm of the relations of production proceed spontaneously independently of the will of men. But that is so only up to a certain moment, until the new and developing productive forces have reached a proper state of maturity. After the new productive forces have matured, the existing relations of production and their upholders – the ruling classes – become that "insuperable" obstacle which can only be removed by the conscious action of the new classes, by the forcible acts of these classes, by revolution. Here there stands out in bold relief the tremendous role of new social ideas, of new political institutions, of a new political power, whose mission it is to abolish by force the old relations of production. Out of the conflict between the new productive forces and the old relations of production, out of the new economic demands of society, there arise new social ideas; the new ideas organize and mobilize the masses; the masses become welded into a new political army, create a new revolutionary power, and make use of it to abolish by force the old system of relations of production, and to firmly establish the new system. The spontaneous process of development yields place to the conscious actions of men, peaceful development to violent upheaval, evolution to revolution.”- Josef Stalin, History of the CPSU(B)
Here in Canada we have a weak and limpwristed liberal in office. He's Trump's little bitch in the north. The "new and improved" Nafta will be even worse than what existed before. His foreign policy is a joke, he is a king of destrationary bullshit like dressing in Indian drag or removing his shirt for the cameras so people are distracted from things that anyone with a brain would want to critique, and he's pissing money away the way liberals normally do... with nothing really noteworthy or progressive resulting... Here is another thing... he was a school teacher before all this, would you really trust one of your old primary school teachers to run a country? I certainly wouldnt. They couldn't even control a class of 30 kids. He's only in office because of his daddy's last name. And let's not forget the mess that moron made. Get this idiot out of office please. Oh, and let's crush and recreate the system while we are at it. Power to the people. ✊✊✊🛠🛠🛠
📰"The criminal probe by the Manhattan U.S. attorney’s office, which is in its early stages, also is examining whether some of the committee’s top donors gave money in exchange for access to the incoming Trump administration, policy concessions or to influence official administration positions, some of the people said.
Giving money in exchange for political favors could run afoul of federal corruption laws. Diverting funds from the organization, which was registered as a nonprofit, could also violate federal law."-THE WALL STREET JOURNAL🗞
Still dont think Trump is corrupt. Because everyone around him is...Ladies and gentleman we.....(soon)
The gas tax was just the trigger for the riots in Paris. Austerity and the plague of neo liberalism attacking the working and poor classes for years is what it's all about. Finally it came to be too much to bear And people took to the streets. Us in the west can learn a thing or two about how to protest... step 1: actually protest.
70% of people in France support the yellow vests. And we on the left should support them 110%. We must not fear mass movements such as this. Instead we should become part of them (or hopefully become part of the leadership and a face of such movements) ptherwise we will get left behind and forgoten. We must organize and we must rise up in our own countries. Movements like this cannot just be a flash in the pan, they must be made the beginning of a serious push against the financial oligarchs, the capitalists, the right wing and their neo liberal governments. Macron should be not only removed from office and politics, but should be forced to live the way he has forced the majority of the people in France to live... Let's fight the right. Remember comrades, the only good war is a class war. and... We. Must Win.
Solidarity and action comrades!
Love you all
#Malawi —crushing poverty is daily life:
1. 90,000+ live with HIV/AIDS
2. One million children orphaned by AIDS epidemic
3. Average life expectancy is 63 years due to disease
4. Health care is virtually nonexistent
5. 35% of Malawi’s youth can't read or write
6. One in three children are out of school.
Malawi is one of the world’s poorest countries. All this is intolerable and unnecessary. It cries out for a revolution to bring into being a much better system whose ultimate goal is the new communism: a world without division of humanity into classes, without the oppressive social relations, and without borders.
