A few things to work on in order to improve your dribbling in soccer.
1) Practice dribbling at speed. In matches, if you have space to run into, you want to exploit that space quickly. If you are not working on your speed dribbling, you won't be able to do this effectively. Also become competent at being able to cut and turn while maintaining speed.
2) Practice dribbling in tight space. This is a great skill to have. It'll not only get you out of tight spots, but can also make you more unpredictable and allow you to be a more attacking threat. Drills like touch every step, the Ronaldinho box, and spontaneous dribbling are great at improving this. Ball mastery drills are also very effective!
3) Make sure you are practicing with all parts of your foot. Primarily the inside, outside, and sole of your foot. When you speed dribble, you will be using mainly the outside or laces of your foot. But you'll need to use the other parts in different situations.
4) Like anything else, all of this gets better when you work on it often. If you are struggling with a certain technique, the best solution is usually to get out there and keep working at it! The hours you put in will pay off!
