At the start of June at 18 3/4 yrs Keenan had only 20hrs on his driving hours (we need 120hrs for under 21’s to get their license in Victoria). 🚙Having one child who got their license 2 days after they turned 18 (and that’s only because her birthday was on a weekend), it’s been different to have a child with no real interest in driving on his own 🤷🏻♂️ This was partly personality as Keenan has been perfectly happy being a kid whereas Karlie wanted to be an adult since she was around 4yrs old! So once the motivation came we have made a concerted effort to do long day trips nearly ever weekend since June. 3 months later and a huge snow trip day yesterday Keenan hit 120 hrs (124hrs and 20 mins to be exact!). He is booked in to go for his P’s in the next few weeks which will coincide with him turning 19 !!! 👏👏 #120hoursdone
On my second last day on Cardrona the crew I was with had gone skydiving so was dropped off early and had to find my own way back! Had the fortune of meeting Assaph, a half New Zealander half Israeli legend who, after a quick detour to Wanaka dropped me all the way back home in Queenstown! An amazing human and very grateful to have met him and heard his stories and given a chance to see more of this beautiful country 😁❤️ .
Poor little miss has finally passed out again after being up since 5am vomiting 😩 It breaks your heart seeing them so sick when there's nothing you can do to help. We've been to the medical centre for a wafer thing which seems to have done the trick, hopefully she feels better after her sleep 🤞
In the meantime, I found Richard Branson amongst the books in our flat, have been wanting to read this #makingthemostofit
