Who else is committed to sticking to their running routine this winter? While most of us definitely didn’t have to dig out our cars this week, those up at @breckenridgemtn are getting a massive head start into winter.
Last night, I did my first snow run of the season. Almost a year ago, I made the commitment to run everyday. As a graduate student, that ends up meaning having to run at odd times, and under uncomfortable weather conditions. I’m ashamed to say I spent most of my life running minimally. So, I’m really glad that I finally managed to make this healthy change in my life. Never too late to make a change I guess. 😅
Out the womb they all said I was going to be a runner. Since birth I have owned up to my destiny as a pure runner, pure athlete. I don’t take this gift for granted. I’m blessed to have a functioning body to workout and to treat it well. #nightrun#snowrun#healthyfromtheinsideout#blessed
It wasn’t so much a run as it was an exercise in futility. I cannot say i “ran” today but i did get a good workout in the snow. It’s like running in dry sand but WAY more slippery! #centralpark#snowrun#runheathersrun
First: spent five minutes chasing the dogs away so I could run... Second: two mile run is so short for me but I can’t express how grateful I am to be able to run again! Third: How on earth do these women posting runs on IG look so amazing!? I mean seriously, by mile two I’m nothing but sweat and frizzed out hair!!! #snowrun#run#inspiringwomenrunners#runhappy#winterfitness
