First snow of the season!! What a difference in looking out the window at the sunflower field as it’s covered in a beautiful white blanket of snow today. I miss the sunflowers but the snow is a pretty magical sight and Lucy is in her glory ( It’s the Mountain Dog in her ). Did it snow yet by you ? Will it snow by you or are you in a super sunny climate ? Catch our flower tribe up on what’s going on in your neck of the woods this week weather wise in the comments below☃️❄️
This leftover patch of snow while I was backpacking a couple of years ago looked like an angry ghost... at least it does to me!! Lol 🙄🤷🏻♀️😂 However upon closer inspection it just an old, collapsing, and lingering snowfield... it’s the spookiest thing i could find to share on my phone today... it’s also kinda fun. Happy Halloween everyone!! 👻😊 #hiking#memories#spooky#snowfield#happyhalloween#lol 😊
Norway - in English it’s called ‘hood of snow’ . It’s the highest mountain in the area, and it got it’s name because of the snowfield on the inside of the mountain.
Because of a combination of height and the snow, you need at least two days to get to the summit.
