Today is world snakes day..!! The day of these majestic special creatures whom most of us have always misunderstood. Let's try and see if at least a little fear can be withdrawn from within you by the end of this article.
Snakes are basically one of the most shy species of creatures who like to keep their life private. That's one reason we don't really encounter many of them in our lifetime. Of course that privacy has become lesser these days because of deforestation and ecological imbalances around us. Snakes have no option but to move to human habitations for the most important thing ever, food. Or to be specific, rats.
Snakes are extremely important and are nature's gift to maintain the food chain balance around us. You take out all the snakes and you will see how rodents will ruin our lives within a few days. That's one very important reason why snakes need to be saved.
We have about close to 300 species of snakes in India, 95% of these are harmless and non venomous, can you believe that? Most of us run away the moment we hear the word snake. It's the deep hidden fear which we need to ward off. We are always scared of things we don't know about.
They are extremely beautiful creatures who wouldn't want to hurt you unless you mess around so please respect them and they will never cross your way. To be honest they are more scared of us than anything, they have no hands or legs to defend themselves, how can we be cowards and kill someone who cannot even defend themselves?
Let's be responsible and if at all you have a situation where a snake has come inside your premises, call an expert. Don't mess around, you may hurt yourself or even worse, you may hurt the snake.
On the eve of world snakes day let's take a pledge to safeguard these beautiful majestic creatures. They are just another species of beings trying to survive and raise their families and young ones, let's respect that and co exist peacefully, please... #snakes#snakesinthegrass#snake#snakerescue#snakerescuer#snakelove#snakelover#snakelovers#snakeofinstagram#worldsnakeday#savesnakes#snakestagram#mangalore#Mangaluru#EveryLifeMatters#HART
