I've been on and off cheese for a while now (mostly the only non-vegan thing I still eat/ate) but I always knew that it wasn't that good for me/my body/digestion. After a pretty disgusting incidence last week where I had coffee with cow milk by accident and immediately recognized the major negative impact this had on my body I decided once and for all to cut the crap and go vegan. At last, it's not that hard when you dive into the topic, try out new stuff and stay open-minded. This vegan blueberry smoothie bowl with self-made granola is a good example for a fast & easy breakfast option! Thinking about opening a breakfast bar someday.. 😁
This smoothie bowl should make just about anyone happy on a Thursday morning 💓. One for me and one for my momma - and we enjoyed every bite!! .
I have been working with my kids on focusing towards gratefulness, and it is just so amazing how it can completely change your day! Our minds, hearts and souls have so much to be grateful for, but sometimes we have to train ourselves to see it. Today, I have so much Gratitude for my kids, their amazing school that fills them with so much love and education, my husband who is my sounding board (my everything, really), my Dad, who watches over me in heaven, my mom who started me in the field of Nutrition and Meditation back in the 90’s 😳, and simply my passion for Health and Wellness. It continues to bring me through a journey of growth that only seems to get better! What are you grateful for....besides tomorrow being Friday😉?
⚡️ Late post ⚡️🏋🏻♀️ I went to the gym earlier this morning and I did a muscle pump class it was my second time trying that class and even though it’s not as intense as the classes I normally take I know I’m still going to feel it tomorrow. 😂 .
Then I enjoyed this good looking bowl 😏
Raspberry delight! •Frozen raspberries • frozen bananas • vegan chocolate protein •maca powder •splash of almond milk... •topped with pomegranate, coconut flakes, Amaranth, almond butter & chia seeds.
Later today I’m going to take a booty, stomach, leg class and then a Zumba class to get my cardio in. 💃🏻 .

finding healthy food that satisfies my “sweet” cravings was a tough one at first but smoothie bowls and dates have been my saviours 🙌
I had some fun the other night and made myself an Instagram worthy (well I think it is) smoothie bowl 🍌🍓🍏 the smoothie part is banana, strawberries and oat milk - topped with apple, more strawberries, chai seeds, coconut, seed and nut mix and a little bit of peanut butter 👌

Tahini & cashew smoothie
Keeping it smooth and simple this morning.
2 small bananas- chilled them in the freezer for about an hour (whilst I sorted washing,kids, ducks, chaos)
1/2 tsp of date syrup
1/2 tsp of vanilla extract
1 tsp of tahini
1 tsp of cashew butter
Then 300ml of oat mylk - or which ever you feel like.
Blend until smooth & enjoy.
RECIPE BELOW👇 so after a stressful few days with no sleep in the lead up to results day (today!) I finally got to find out how I did in my exams so will be celebrating tonight! This berry smoothie was a mix of raspberries, blackberries, strawberries, blueberries and almond milk🍓🍓
Plant strong 💪🏼 not much beats a big ol bowl of them! I was so happy to find a supplier of hemp seeds at the Go Green Expo, I loved them in Canada so it’s cool to finally get them here! Stupid amount of nutrients and no THC, so don’t get too excited. Also featuring chia seeds, homemade granola, @raglancoconutyoghurt strawberry and açai yoghurt on top of a banana, blueberry, kale powder, Spirulina, LSA and almond milk smoooothie. Yes, this is how I get my protein. No, I’m not deficient in anything! Eat more plants 🌱
