🌸☀️ My dear sunshine, I cannot believe it has been 9 months since your arrival 🙏🏻💙. Your curiosity has you climbing stairs😮, trying to jump off the bed/couch😒, and falling everywhere you lose balance🤭. You follow me through the house 💚and you ask for a hug. 💞You want to eat everything we eat🍽. You do not accept being disciplined without a fight☝🏻. You explode with happiness 😁😍when Elías gets off the bus🚌. You have very strong emotions🖤. I love you beyond anything in this world. 💚💖💫 #9monthsold#littlemama#babygirl#bohobaby#mandala#curiousbaby#smartypants
Me: Daniel I’m going upstairs to take a shower
Daniel: No mommy I’m gonna be scared down here, stay!
Me: You can come with me
Daniel handing me a bunch of Clorox wipes: This will clean you! Stay!
He’s 3. 😂😂 #SmartyPants#ItWillSurelyCleanMe
us mommies know this look by heart. he doesn’t like me right now guys. if you don’t let him do whatever he wants like, snatch your phone so he can play games all day then he’s upset. and stiff like a board. noah will not deal with you; well, until you have snacks lmao. hurt his feeling this is what you get.
I have to brag on Anniston because I’m so very proud of her. We had parent/teacher conference and she is doing so well. She is on track on everything she needs to be, she gets green lights daily, and her teacher says she is a great kid and is doing well. I’m tough on her, but she is one fantastic kid. Anniston Kate, you are going to do amazing things! #annistonkate#kindergarten#smartypants#proudmomma
Amazing things happen when you teach your children the importance of trying their best at everything they do.💯
Alana was told by her teacher earlier this week that she is Student of the Month.👏🏽 Again, starting the year on the right foot, last year she was awarded student of the month the first month into school as well. 🍎 ✏️ and as if that isn’t a great accomplishment alone, yesterday she turned into a Yellow belt in Taekwando. She continues to show so much discipline and commitment to the sport even after training 4x a week and balancing school and we couldn’t be more happier.💛
As parents, we have a huge influence in our kids success. We lead the way. Both my hubby and I are committed to our grind 💪🏽💰 but we focus double the time on our kiddos, teamwork at its fullest and exhausting days, we try to lead by example and as a reward they make us the proudest parents at such young age. Both Alana & Dominic are learning to be their best and TRY their hardest even when something seems impossible to achieve. It is never too early to be GREAT. ❤️❤️❤️
Spartan Kids is up next and both her and Dominic are up for the challenge 😆🙌🏽😻
✨Today's post is on the most common botox questions I get in clinic & from beauty editors. Add your own below & I'll answer them here! See yesterday's post for some general background. As a reminder, when I say botox i'm referring to botulinum toxin A which is sold as Botox, Dysport and Xeomin in the U.S.
✨Does it hurt? I use very small needles so although it's a needle, most people don't have an issue with pain in particular. .
✨Will I look fake? No-- the best botox is the one that makes you look like you but less angry & more well rested. You should never look frozen or shiny. In all honesty, a lot of my patients don't tell their spouses that they get botox and they never know! I've been asked to write *very* creative receipts for folks!
✨Side effects? Most common are swelling (resolves within 30-60 mins) and bruising (uncommon.) There are a host of other potential side effects that you should talk to your doctor about because they differ based on where you're getting it done. .
✨Where do people get it? It's FDA approved for crow's feet (around the eyes) & the forehead but I also use it regularly around the lips for "smoker's lines" or a tiny lip flip, to treat a gummy smile, to even out eyebrows, in the masseter muscles to slim the jaw or make it less square, or for vertical neck lines (platysmal neck bands.) The last few need a really experienced injector so make sure you're picking your dermatologist wisely!
✨Any tips or tricks? For first time patients I give them the option of coming in & having some done & then coming in a week later for a touch up. Using small doses to see how you respond & then adding more if you need it is a great way to treat certain areas like masseter muscles. Bring a hat or cap & your make up to your appointment. Also, although the risk of bruising is very little unless you need it for medical reasons skip Ibuprofen (Advil, Motrin), Aspirin, Alleve or Naproxen, Fish oil, Garlic & Vitamin E supplements for a week before the procedure. .
✨Tomorrow I'll talk about baby botox. Send over your questions on that & I’ll include it in my post. Also, let me know if you have any other general ?s about Botox below! 💕 #drpapri
