Seems that Oreo is smoother than Pie! As a tech enthusiast, performance is crucial to me.
Android Pie (EMUI 9) on the Mate 20 Pro feels a bit laggy, especially with the navigational gestures (even with enabling dev options and setting animations to 0.5x). I still stand by what I have repeatedly said before: The Mate 20 Pro is the best phone of 2018, but Android's software performance issues are dragging it down. It's like a Lamborghini on train tracks. This problem is not just plaguing Huawei, but also Pixel phones and other OEM manufacturers as well. The problem is with Android's software, and EMUI still needs work. I have the P20 Pro, and it is fast but stutters a tiny bit (the animations are still not as completely smooth as iOS), but now I am not sure I want to update to Pie despite the fact that I have been waiting for it for so long. I hope it won't be like the iOS 11 update though because it was a disaster with its laggy performance.

The world is changing very quickly.
Are younger generations facing social issues due to technology? Do you have children that use computers and smartphones?
Should there be an age limit in place to allow for human interaction between children?
Do parents understand modern day dangers that children face on the internet?
Do you know what your children are doing online?
What do you know about “Blue Light”?
iOS has a function called “Night Shift”. Mine is constantly activated. The reason for this is to simply TRY to protect my eyes from this light as much as possible.
Smartphones also have the power to affect your Circadian Rhythm. If you use your phone in the night while you are normally sleeping, this can potentially have an impact on your quality of sleep.
The trick is to get as much daylight as possible during waking hours, and make sure it’s dark when you sleep. This way your brain distinguishes between day and night.
Please study the long term affects of “Blue Light”
