G O O D M O R N I N G. I could not be happier it’s Thursday! I’m so ready for a day off. Coffee with a friend later and a tour around her new house (cannot wait!), but I’ve tackled the cub camp kit explosion that hit my just tidied laundry room on Sunday. I’ve never had a laundry room before. It’s what I’d call small but beautifully formed! It does everything I need it to do, and I love how it looks. I’m in here everyday so it had to pretty and functional - or it it just me?!? For me, this room has to be tidy. If it’s a mess in here, it up-skittles me! Have a lovely day all. •
This was one of the only negatives about this house......very tiny upstairs bathroom that is to be shared with two bedrooms. I knew right away that adding lots of storage was going to be key in here. We started by ripping out the mirror and adding a new mirror that opened with lots of storage. The towel bar hangs on the back of the door and a magazine rack that holds a hairdryer, curling iron and flat iron hangs on the wall behind the door. The shelving above the toilet had to be minimal because there was no room for bulky brackets. Just because it’s tiny doesn’t mean it can’t be made to be functional and beautiful and I think I created both!
