Purchased at Leytonstone Mini Market for £2.70, Creme Soda Vanilla Sour is a sour beer crafted by Orbit Brewing.
The air yields vanilla, lactose, and acidity are sensed upon the nose. The appearance is yellow with a lasting, silky, and low white head. The alcohol content is 4.5%. A citrus and sour bite of lemon is experienced on the take. A wild yeast acidity combines with the carbonation. Wheat is tasted with the lemon and acidic tone. When you get used to the sour, vanilla has a dominant character to the complexion. Lactose makes the take and mouthfeel creamy. The texture and flavor of oats compliments the creamy body.
Cream Soda Vanilla Sour is a beautiful sour beer. The vanilla and lactose blends well with the sour and acidity ventured. The wild yeast and carbonation gives off a complexion similar to a soda. The intensity of the sour is low and easy to drink. The sour and acidity makes this libation tolerable if you have strayed away from cream ales. I enjoyed this beer a lot and reminds me of my youth drinking cream sodas. The White Label Series are one-offs, so supply is limited. It’s really good for an experimental beer.
Cheers. Prost. Drink for the love of beer.
