Here is our normal haunt at cons! We are normally at our table in the artist alley selling plushies! Howevern, we are actually going to be able to wander at Taiyou this coming year! Whatever will we do?
We really miss cosplaying Skyward Sword! Figured I would post some #cosplaysidebyside with both of us this time.
It might be high time to pull these out again. I do want to remake my dress one of these days since the fabric I used was really stiff.
I know this was supposed to be a #ThrowbackThursday countdown, but yesterday there were more important things to post! So here is a #FlashbackFriday to Anime Expo 2016 where I first debuted Skyloft Link!

TBT to #saboten2014 and the first time we cosplayed as Link and Zelda. I absolutely love our plushie loftwings we had while we vended plushies at the artist alley (hence the octopuses on our heads). Photo: Babysoft Murderhands
Colossalcon was pretty fun this year but coming really did solidify what I already felt about conventions as a whole: I'm tired of them. They no longer bring me joy and as an adult I can plan trips to see friends on my terms outside of the convention scene. It made sense when I was 15. Even in my early 20s but I've reached a wall here that I don't really want to climb over. I'll still cosplay here and though for location based shoots but as a whole the con scene and the hobby are something I'm ready to leave behind. I'd like to travel and work on my art and my portfolio. Those are the things that bring me true joy. So for everyone I saw at this con thanks for making my last one special. It's always great to see you and in the future I hope we can get together and instead of Cosplaying on a strict schedule we can just maybe get brunch and some mimosas ♡
