Sunday movie date with my sissy. Fun Fact: my sis has always been a huge horror movie buff. In fact, she’s the reason I prefer older horror movies. When I was little I would sneak into the living room and lay behind the couch to watch whatever scary movie she was watching— I was four and she was fourteen— and I’d have so many nightmares and get in trouble for trying to be a big kid. I STILL close my eyes and cover my ears (as evident today!) and my sis laughs every time, but I’ll forever be her horror movie buddy🎃. #halloween#weveseeneveryone#sisterdate#sundayfunday
Totally not quilting related but I had to share... I had the best date last night with my sister at Garth Brooks at ND! We weren’t sure if the show was going to happen. It rained, snowed, hailed, and there was a severe wind advisory, but with only an hour delay the show went on. I laughed, cried, lost my voice and froze my toes off, but it was all totally worth it!! Swipe for a couple of my favorite moments .
Can you believe I’ve seen Ed five times but this was my first time seeing him headline his own show? U.S. Bank Stadium was such a cool setting to see him captivate. I’ve been in awe of his stage setup since way back in 2012 — he’s literally a one man band with that loop pedal and it’s incredible
What a privilege it is to live close enough to my sister to be able to take her out for a day of birthday festivities! I am SO thankful for our relationship and our bond that continues to grow deeper! Happy Birthday Joänna! Love you! ❤ #BirthdayBrunch#FlightOfChai#SisterDate
