This is what I’ve been up to the past few months at work... documenting the history of @joltsoftware and designing this timeline in 50 feet of wall space. I love my job, the company I work for, the product we create, and the customers we serve. It was really cool to dive into the history and pull out the best moments of Jolt employees, Jolt customers, and growing as a company. I’m loving being a part of the facilities team and working on projects like this. Could not have done this without @shanestanley413 and Andrew, they are the best! Now the question is, what will our next project be? #joltlife#jolt#joltsoftware#taskmanagement#siliconslopes

Ksenia Bitter is constantly improving herself, HR, and businesses around the globe. She started working with the @ldschurch as an HR Representative ➡️ Generalist ➡️ HRBP ➡️ International HR Technology Manager. Not only has she climbed the ranks there, but she also is an Entrepreneur and started @changeoneconsulting and helped with M&A change management for several east cost companies. She also is a European Operations Director for a #siliconslopes SaaS company.
She has a Masters Degree in HR & Training and Development from @pennstate, and is SHRM-SCP certified. In addition to all of this she is the mother to 3 boys, including 2 one year old twins. What I think I’m most impressed with is how Ksenia has used HR as a springboard to do change management in any aspect of the business. If you need help with change management in your business, contact @changeoneconsulting now!

It’s only been 2 weeks, but I already feel at home at @havenbeautyco 🖤 so grateful to be a part of this super talented nail team (2nd photo), and the amazing Haven family as a whole (3rd photo). (forgive me for not tagging everyone! I was getting a little overwhelmed with squeezing in all the names in the big group pic 😬)
Join us for Ember: A Summit to Ignite Careers & Collaboration for Women! This inaugural summit will gather over 100 women and men who are passionate about igniting the careers of women and supporting them as leaders in business. The summit will equip women attendees with the skills and tools they need to advance their careers, provide an opportunity to connect with other people, and help to build long-term relationships with mentors, advisors and peers.
Ember is a partnership event with Braid and our Qualtrics Women Leadership Development group. Women’s Leadership Development aims to develop and retain women at Qualtrics, to recruit talented women to join Qualtrics, and to continue to create a company culture that is supportive and aware so that diverse teams can thrive. The idea behind the name Braid is that one strand by itself can easily bend or break, but when you weave those threads together, they add strength to each other. We hope to see women connecting and adding strength to each other as a result of our skills workshops and networking events.
Join us! Check out the QualtricsLife blog and FB page to RSVP or join us on FBLive!

Wesley sat down with the @utahmicroloanfund the other day to chat about our growth since receiving a loan from them a few years back. DO NOT BE AFRAID TO TAKE RISKS in this life!! Make a plan and follow through everyday. Make those sacrifices to make your dreams a reality!
Chick-fil-A owner Sam is “easily paying for the investment through cost savings.” And that’s “using a conservative estimate.” His words; not ours.

@teemforwork has been on my radar for several years and it seems like they keep getting more and more attention in the #siliconslopes . I figured it was time to take my knowledge to the next level.
Teem started as an idea💡from @zach as a way to better manage the way businesses are using their office space. Teem has iPads outside a conference room showing who has it booked and for how long. That simple idea has evolved like crazy. 🚀
Today Teem is a way to understand how your employees work, where they work, and how to optimize that efficiency 🗓📈. You can use @amazon_alexa to book more time in a room, and adjust future schedules. Teem has sensors to tell when someone walks into a room and automatically marks the room as occupied so no one can book it as long as you are in that space.
I also love that they have eliminated the need for receptionist with a visitor management. You can sign in when you arrive and Slack, email, text, or Teems
App will notify the person you are visiting, that you’ve arrived. Once you are in the space wayfinding helps get you from meeting to meeting so you never get lost!
In September @wework acquired Teem as their first stab in having a SaaS platform as part of their co-working space. WeWork (valued at $20B+) is all about bringing businesses and entrepreneurs together and instills a sense of community. Entrepreneurship can be lonely, but not if you work at a WeWork location.
Finally the culture at Teem really stood out. They are 🐶 friendly, have a slide for those who what to yell “weeee” instead of walking downstairs, a secret Harry Potter nook, scavenger hunt for kids, flavored water instead of soda, and flaming hot Cheetos, just to name a few!
If you are designing your office space and want a product & data to help with efficiently, check out Teem now!
I think developers who also want to be entrepreneurs have to be careful not to be taken advantage of. A few people at work (direct co workers with no defined set of skills) have told me more than a few times that they can “just get another developer to do it for them”. I understand their thinking, but they fail to realize that I am just like them but with dev skill. Which gives me an edge up, IF I can display both sets of skills.
So to avoid being taken advantage of, I think I just have to perform, and push myself to talk to the right people and not just do what I’m told.
