Sometimes (most of the time), I find myself in a head-heart battle where my head has thoughts of truth but my heart does not FEEL truth. During these wars, I intentionally and strategically place post-it notes, images, decorations and objects, where I know I will see them, that remind me of who God says I am.
My newest focus is on worth. I'm trying to engrain the truth that I am worthy because of Christ deep deep in my heart. I don't just want to rehearse it, I want to get my heart in line with Scripture and live it out.
Today, I needed a new object that would point me back to who I am in Christ. With a little creative motivation, I made a few coffee mugs. This one says it all: Worthy, Without Blemish, Valuable, Beloved of God.
And because I KNOW I'm not the only one who needs to hear it, let this settle in your heart: You are worthy. You are valuable. You are without blemish. You are the beloved of God.
