And I also know how important it is in life not necessarily to be strong but to feel strong. To measure yourself at least once. To find yourself at least once in the most ancient of human conditions. Facing the blind death stone alone, with nothing to help you but your hands and your own head.

Some first impressions of our Himalayan Yoga Retreat! It's impossible to describe the journey, joy, beauty, peace, inner and outer abundance we experienced up here in the Himalayas, as pictures capture only a split second. No other place on earth as the Himalayas can bring you so close to your spirit and true essence. Our beautiful journey together, was a true pilgrimage of making our footsteps in this sacred land of wisdom and compassion. We traveled light, to unburden ourselves from the western fast speed society and many urgencies. We breathed in the simplicity of natures most magnificent mountains and rivers. Our yoga studio, secret water garden and Togocheepa Eco hotel nested in the heart of a small village offered the perfect sanctuary to practice, relax, unwind, rejuvenate and nourish yourself in this 'Sacred Land of the Highest Passes'. We are so grateful for this unique journey and opening of our yoga studio!
For next year we have planned already 4 Yoga retreats between June and September: for more info please visit: www.yogawithveerle.com
The story of Silent Valley is arguably one of India’s most famous environmental battles. It is more than a forest, it is more than a river, it is more than the sum of all parts. Come watch this film and hear the story for yourselves - a community against a few reckless, feckless individuals out to dam the river Kunthi and submerge one of the last remaining wilderness areas in the country.
