Wow...strawberries, but not the overly sweet grocery store strawberries, more like wild strawberries, firm and tart, just slightly sweet...earthy, almost medicinal, with a beautiful streak of minerality, like sucking on a smooth, dusty, wet rock!
This is like a walk in the desert after a rainstorm, you can smell and taste the dirt, the rocks, the asphalt, the vegetation...really this is more like a strawberry Syrah! Is there such a thing? Well there should be!
The minerality in this wine is what sells it for me, just killer!
Sourced from vineyards in the Sta. Rita Hills and Santa Maria Valley
I probably should have given this a few years, but...soooo tasty now!
2017 Siduri Santa Barbara County Pinot Noir 🍇
@siduriwines, you guys make some damn fine Pinot!
So it might not look pretty, but the Shepard’s Pie we made with all our Thanksgiving leftovers (turkey, brussels sprouts, carrots, heavy cream, extra frozen pie crust and topped with mashed potatoes) really hit the spot tonight and allowed us to use up ALL the leftovers! No food waste! We paired it with one of our favorite go-to Pinots from @siduriwines. How did you use up your Thanksgiving leftovers? #thanksgivingleftovers#nofoodwaste
Adam Lee and Dianna Novy left their native Texas, moved to the Sonoma County wine country and spent years working at small, family-owned wineries and using any and all free time learning everything they could about growing grapes and making wine.
And it paid off—the first Siduri Wines release, in 1994, was met with great critical success. About that same time, perhaps not coincidentally, Adam and Dianna married. @siduriwines
Today, Siduri’s breadth and depth of Pinot Noirs is truly unique. Siduri specializes in cool-climate Pinot Noir, producing only single-vineyard, single-variety wine from twenty vineyards stretching from Santa Barbara to the Willamette Valley.
We found a few bottles of Siduri 2014 vintage in our celler. We have:
2014 Siduri Pinot Noir Pisoni Vineyards, Santa Lucia Highlands, Monterey. Four bottles. @pisonivineyards
2014 Siduri Pinot Noir Garys’ Vineyard, Santa Lucia Highlands, Monterey. One bottle. #garysvineyard
2014 Siduri Pinot Noir Clos Pepe Vineyard, Sta. Rita Hills, Santa Barbara. Two bottles. #clospepevineyard
2014 Siduri Pinot Noir John Sebastiano Vineyard, Sta. Rita Hills, Santa Barbara. One bottle. #johnsebastianovineyard
And yes, you can have any of them by the glass or take some home.

Drinking my last bottle of Siduri Rosella Pinot Noir from 2014! First word Yummy! Bursting with blueberries, plum and other black fruits. Delicious in the mouth. The fruit flavors go on and on.. I give this a solid CB-94... #pinotnoir#siduriwines#california
