Just proof that excuses werent going to get the best of me today. Today was day 1 of my new program and when it came time to have lunch, the time to go pick up my little one from school also hit. So what were my choices? 1.) Eat the meal replacement bar I had in my hand. 2.) Grab something when I got my coffee, like a bagel or something. Or 3.) Quickly throw together a sald and bring it with me.
I chose option 3, it took me 5 minutes pf throwing left overs from my fridge into a bowl. I knocked out a bunch of my 💚 containers, amd also snuck in some ❤. Also 💙 with my oil free homemade dressing!
This lifestyle doesnt have to be hard and we dont have to fail the first time we are put in a time crunch or faced with a challenge. My salad was super filling and I didnt feel guilty after eating it, I actually felt really proud of myself.
Next bootcamp starting soon! Message me for details and we can crush our goals together!!! #fitgirlmom#fitboymom#stayathomemom#80DO#crushgoals#saladonthego#getinyourgreens#shreddingforthewedding#sweatingfoethewedding#coachlife#momlife
The only view I get of my breakfast 😂 using what we have instead of shopping at the moment so I made another omelette, but with chives, spring onion and nondairy feta after Monday’s fail ☺️ #F45challengefood#F45challenge#Day10

I’m ready to get back on track and have all the tools to do so! I’ve got big goals before the end of the year!
I would love to help you reach your goals, so let’s talk and join each other on this journey! 💕
Does your head start spinning when your friend asks to grab a bite but you’re dieting and think that eating out will cause weight gain and throw you off track and you know you’re going to bloat so badly and ahhhhh?
Breathe - because there are some handy tips + tricks while eating out during your fitness journey that can save you the spinning.
I promise we’ll get into the nitty gritty of what to order to save some calories in another post - but today will be dedicated to general basics that can be used no matter the dish:
1✨[Eat slowly] Sometimes we eat so quickly that our hunger cues can’t keep up, not realizing we’re actually much fuller than we are until the 2nd helping. Focus on good company and conversation during the meal - not shoveling tortellinis into your mouth AFAP.
2✨[Eat to 80% full] 80% full doesn’t mean “Oh sh*t, I need to unbuckle my pants…” to me, this means when you are getting those first inklings that you’re full - put the fork down, Becky!
3✨[Include a lean protein source] Luckily, we can never forget our hands on the kitchen counter while running out the door. Use your palm as a tool to gauge an appropriate protein portion size to aid in overall protein goals and satiety!

It’s finally feeling like soup season! This delicious watercress, potato and leek blended soup is a hit with the whole family and it’s packed with antioxidants, vitamins, minerals and prebiotics. The link to the recipe is in my bio. .
Watercress is a cruciferous delicate leafy green that is an excellent source of vitamins A, C, K and the protective anitoxidents lutein and beta-carotene, It is also a good source of calcium and iron and contains anticancer properties. In a study published in The American Journal of Clinical Nutrition, 60 healthy adults ate 3 ounces of watercress per day for 8 weeks. Findings revealed that they had reduced blood cell DNA damage after the 8 weeks. They also had increased levels of antioxidants in their blood. Amazing how this superfood changed blood levels and reduced cellular damage in such a short amount of time. .
Watercress is delicious in soups, salads and sandwiches. If you can't find it in your market, speak with the manager about adding it to their next order.

Worked hard this week. Has an afternoon tea on Thursday which was my cheat day. Managed to stay strong on Sunday in a room filled with Chinese. Cravings were through the roof this week. Blasted my workouts with @chefvalhallapt and at home and I’m happy with my weight and inch loss this week. 4 weeks left of challenge and I’m aiming for same again next week! Back to first menu this week so I have just enjoyed some satay 😍#shreddingforthewedding#12weekchallenge#prepcoscotland @prepcoscotland
Over the moon with this!! 3 pounds lost this week! Honestly wasn’t expecting it. Got my stone award and have lost 15.5 lbs in 9 weeks. I have now lost 53.5lbs since Max was born 🙌🏼 this weekend is going to be totally off plan but I had aimed to lose a stone for it so I’m super happy to have just exceeded that & now I have a little bit of room to have a gain next week! #fatmammanomore
When you overhear the trainers talking about how hard tomorrow’s workout looks 😳 and then it delivers 🔥🔥There’s still a point in every session I do where I think, “I can’t do this, I’m not fit enough, I should have worked harder when I was younger so I would be fitter now, I don’t belong here” etc etc 🤦🏼♀️ I know I must not be the only one who has struggled with self esteem in working out as a result of broader past self esteem issues, but I’m gradually quietening that voice and I have a system for dealing with it. As I walk out the door and down the stairs, I take time to ACTIVELY REFLECT on what I just achieved. I remind myself how strong I feel now. That the pain was temporary, I’ve got my breath back, and I’ve completed another session. That I’m better than I used to be and still improving all the time. That I can handle whatever the day brings. That I’m committed, I do what I say I’ll do, and I’m working on ME to be a better ME for myself and for my family. It’s one of the most powerful, validating and cathartic things I’ve ever done. Go me 👊🏻 #F45challenge#Day10#F45Foxtrot
